Im from the uk and i really need to get some of these adapters http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007 ... g=gdext-21 as i bought fans with the wrong type connections i know i could send the fans back but its just too much hassle so if anyone knows of anywhere that sells these cheap with cheapish postage cost please let me know because im not buying those ones in the link with £8 just for postage i need 3 of these so it would be silly to buy 3 from the link

thats strange it works for me anyways its a 3 pin male to 4 pin female pwm adapter because i bought 3 pin fans and really wanted 4 pin fans its not too much hassel not having them

Wait, what i get from your message is that you have 3pin fans and you want to plug them into a 3 pin powersource using a 4pin->3pin.
I have obviously missunderstood so could uoi clearify

i have 3 pin fans but on my Mobo the connections are 4 pin so i want an adatper to go from 3 pin to 4 pin so my fans are not going full blast all the time

you can just hook in the fans to the fourpin but as you said the fans will go full blast, unless your motherboard has fan voltage regulation. What mobo do you have? Secondly just cause you buy an adapter doesnt mean that the fans gain pwm-controllability, that has to be supported by the fans motor. I should recommend that you buy a fan controller instead.
