I've always thought about doing a Saturday morning cartoon themed mural on my right arm; TMNT, Transformers, Thundercats etc. Sadly the majority of people I have talked to within in my desired career field say they are frowned upon.

Yeah, unfortunately tattoos are frowned upon in most careers. I myself work in the industry as a welder. My bosses don't really care if we are tattooed or not.

All of mine can be covered easily by pants or longer skirts and a sweater. But the first thing I asked when I got hired by my job was the policy on tattoos. Turned out there were no rules against them so I get to have them showing when I am in the office. My suggestion is always to put it somewhere it can be masked with clothing if it's a concern.

No one ever expects the Imperial Inquisition!
My second ink. Went to artist with only an idea and a couple of reference pictures and he created this. One sitting, 5 hours.

I finally got my family/clan crest about a year ago. Took about 3 1/2 hours in one sitting. Here are some pictures after applying the stencil and after it is finished.
