Glad to see malkavian in the lead. The concept behind Nosferatu seems pretty funny, until you actually play them and discover how restrictive the playstyle actually is. Tremere was great fun to play, a good solid baseline.

voted Malkavian because its by far the funniest and strangest one especially after youve played through the game once before as one of the "normal" clans

I'd go for Ventrue if only because it adds a bit of consideration to a feeding, since you can't feed on bums that way.
Might lose out on some plots/experiences if you start with Nosferatu early on, too.
The only reservation I'd have concerning a Malkavian playthrough is the fact that it alters the dialogue a lot. It can be a bit wonky for a first playthrough. It works better as a second, it obscures a lot of the intent of the dialogue while also adding little things that make more sense if you know what's going on.
It's as if you're playing Deus Ex and JC starts talking like a crazed conspiracy theorist who notices emails addressing him in real time or references characters you haven't met or plotlines you haven't discovered.
Malkavian is the only right answer, unless it is your first playthrough.
Maybe you're right i remember my first playtrough with the was with a malkavian and it wasn't really hard but i played months and months of masquerade in IRL (the one with paper and dices) so maybe that simplified the mechanics for me since most of the skills are truth to the IRL version..

You know, as much as I love this game, and as much as I love the Malkavian, almost everyone I see winds up playing that clan, so I had to go with Tremere, because they are still fun to play, and not as restrictive as the Nosferatu (though really, once you get enough obfucate, even they arent that restrictive). Second choice would be a Ventrue, high Fortitude sword weilding badass of a tank.
Going back to the Malkavian for a bit, it can be a bit hard for a first playthrough simply because the changed dialogue, you may not always know what you are saying. But I think I remember hearing cohh say one time that he had played it before, so yeah.

I vote myself for the clan Ventrue. The same way Malkavians are using the Dementation discipline in dialogues, the Ventrue can use their Dominate (mind control) discipline which is also fun. I did play VtMB many times and finished it with all clans and the best moment I have had with the Ventrue.

Had a great time watching the 1st stream of Vampire today. I've never played it myself, only heard good things, so it's awesome to actually see some gameplay. Thank you Cohh and good show my friend.
