That has to be a joke. I play a paladin and I've barely put any points into Strength yet I out DPS some of my guilds DPSers. It all comes to what combo you're doing.
Fast Blade -> Savage Blade -> Rage of Halone -> Spirits Within(Single Target)/Circle of Scorn(AoE)
It deals a lot of damage if you manage to pull it off, you could also add "Fight or Flight" to increase your damage by 20% for 20 seconds.
Paladins are by NO means weak.
