Hi everyone. I'm preparing to build a new gaming rig for myself. I know how to build a desktop, that's no problem. What I need is recommendations for WHERE to buy the parts. I'm still pricing everything out, but I've already looked at the following sites:
Amazon
Micro Center
Newegg
Outletpc
bhphotovideo
Computer part venders

Honestly Newegg and ebay are my go to places. I got my 6900k i7 processor for 800 new off of ebay. As long as you pay through paypal on ebay, you're pretty safe, because if it shows up different than what it was described you can get a refund. Newegg is also pretty safe.
I always compare prices before i make any last decisions on purchases. Microcenter is good about telling you if any good sales are coming up if you call the store location you are near.
