Former MLB player and 38 Studios founder Curt Schilling still has faith in his Kingdoms of Amalur franchise, which he says could be worth $1 billion. "If someone were to buy Amalur, put team back on it, it's a billion dollar franchise, 2 years later and still no ones done what we were doing
," he said. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was deemed a failure having sold 1.2 million copies.
Gears of War co-creator Cliff Bleszinski disagrees with Schillings thought, and replied, "Curt you can't just throw a bunch of bodies at it and attempt to make WoW and Skyrim. I wouldn't try to pitch the world series."
