I looked through the threads and I couldn't find this mentioned. So I put this up.

What is your opinion of this game? Do you play it? If you have played it, do you think it is worth purchasing the machine as well as the game?

I am thinking of getting it myself and I could use all the input you guys here can give.

Totally thought of buy a Wii just to play this and Zelda... just haven't brought myself to do it yet ha ha. Looks very cool and something I would like.

I play this and absolutely love this game. Already put 300+ hours into it.

I don't own a Wii U. Instead I was lucky enough to have a 3DS from a previous game purchase (aka Kingdom Hearts). As far as a console purchase I would say that depends on you.

On the Wii U you have a online multiplayer option, while on 3DS you have to connect locally. My roommate and I own the game and play together, and it's so much fun. The game is worth every penny you spend on it.

I broke down and bought the WiiU and the MH3U game and Almost in one sitting I dropped over 16 hours on it. I really enjoy this game alot and look forward to the weekend for more of it! (I work 14 hour work days so not much more time other than for sleeping.)

Well congrats on the new console and game. Monster Hunter will suck you in for several hours at a time.

Personally I think it's a nice stress reliever after a hard day, or just for some good game time. There is just so much to do in Monster Hunter. =D

Tell me how you like the online play. It is something I don't have access to without the WiiU.

Enjoy Hunting, and remember take lots of breaks!

I just found out about charm tables... How they affect charm drops and even carves possibly! D:

I found out about that after I was a few hours in as well. I tried not to think about it too much, but if you are worried there are guides out there to help you determine your charm table. I actually have not determined mine, but I do know I don't have a cursed table.

I'm really too far in to worry about tables at this point, unless I'm going to start a whole new character. Which I don't think I have the dedication to do at this point.

Here's a guide for you to work with - http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/683294-m ... e/65669990 . It gives you two possible ways to determine your table, and breaks it down for you.

Originally the tables were not meant to work like this. The way they were supposed to work was that every time you started up your game you were given a random table. It was never meant to be set in stone that you have a bad table or good table.
