There is a Sci-Fi Horror game called "Caffeine" coming out in October. From the trailers it looks very good and atmospheric. It also seems to have some kind of deeper meaning. Worth checking out in Nopetober IMO!

Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason

A great story driven psychological horror game. It's not sold on Steam anymore though, so you'd have to either get a physical copy somewhere, or an old unused Steam key (they still work)

It got a mixed reception on release mainly due to being badly optimized, but that's not a problem anymore with newer hardware being able to brute force through it.

I would maybe recommend Dreamland R: Final Mix

The English translation isn't perfect but it's complete enough that you can enjoy and finish the game
Playtime ranges around 3.5 to 12 hours. The game has multiple difficulties and is played with a keyboard.
