Consoles - keyboard/mouse support

I know COH is a PC gamer first and foremost and hates the controller interface on consoles. He frequently berates consoles when he has to use them. Hopefully I can help alleviate his major issue with consoles - the controller.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I have not used any of the devices I am listing below, just read a few articles and providing them as options only.

There are devices that will allow you to use Keyboard/Mouse in games on both the PS4 and Xbox One. The PS4 does actually allow Mouse/Keyboard support for any/all games - it is up to the developer to actually implement the interfaces though. I have heard that full keyboard/mouse support is coming to the Xbox One - but I cannot verify that with 100% certainty.

Hopefully this will allow COH to use his preferred "controller" even on consoles and make his streaming session with less anger directed at consoles.

Huh....I honestly never thought there would be a day when a keyboard and mouse would come to a console. I wonder if they would be banned for use in competitions like Halo Tournaments...? Thanks for the information. Cheers!

Banned for using them? That would depend on the Developer of the game. The PS4 has native keyboard/mouse support but most games either disallow their use or just don't code for it.

FFXIV A Realm Reborn is a game on PS4 that does fully code/allow keyboard & mouse.

I do not have any information on the Xbox One keyboard/mouse policies.
