Rockstar Games has announced the addition of Crew Hierarchies to its Social Club in preparation for the launches of Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
An entry on the Rockstar Newswire explains how the new Crew Hierarchies will work, and it's pretty similar to how guilds and clans function in many other titles.
As of today, Crew Leaders will be able to assign special ranks to other members. In descending order of seniority, the ranks below Crew Leader are Commissioners, then Lieutenants, then Representatives and finally Muscle.
As Commissioners are essentially the Leader's deputies, they'll be able to invite in and kick other members from the Crew, as well as promote and demote where appropriate. Lieutenants have the same privileges, but can only promote and demote Representatives and Muscle. Representatives have no promotion powers, but can invite others in, while Muscle members have no administrative powers.
