Banned or not banned?

Hello, so when i tuned in today i noticed that there's a info box above the chat box that says "Email address banned from CohhCarnage", i have no idea why this would be that case since i barely even write in chat mostly lurk so i assumed to was a mistake.
But this isn't even the weirdest part, i went to cohh.tv/unban to request an unban and it says that i am not banned so now i'm just confused, can one of the mods help me?

You have an alternative account that uses the same email address as this account.

That other account is banned from the chat.

Please login to that other account and seek an unban using that account!

AH, i see. I haven't used that old account for like 6 years i don't even remember the username, i'll see what i can do, thanks anyway Barry

if you use the Twitch "Forgotten password" routine there is an option to "send me all the Twitch names for this email address"

yep i found that, recovered the old account and sent the unban request
