Last year, following the cataclysmic implosion of 38 Studios, the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning rights are scheduled to go to auction as early as this month. Richard Land, the court-appointed receiver for 38, told WPRI that Copernicus and the Amalur IP will go on sale "soon."
Land explained, "The process is taking longer than we anticipated for a variety of reasons including the complexity of the game itself. We have engaged an auctioneer and they are developing an Internet marketplace – or website – to market the game."
