I'm not really sure at all what you're referring to about having big numbers during my Kickstarter. I can tell you right now that the Kickstarters had nothing to do with the numbers; that comes from positioning and scheduling.

Here's the deal, man. I want you to go to http://www.twinge.tv/cohhcarnage and really look at all the statistics since Archeage, which you keep quoting. Look at the numbers. Coordinate them with releases. I'm saying this because you really clearly do not have all the info; you've focused on a few key stats that you seem to think support your argument and your not really understanding how it all works together.

This is going to be my last post in this thread; if you're not going to really dig into the facts before making arguments, there is little we can do to have a discussion. You're welcome to feel however you do about this, but just know; I'm vehemently against viewbotting, it would do nothing to help me, and I will never associate the channel with it in any way, as I've said countless times on stream and on other streams as well.

Wish you the best, dude.
stop trying to hide it from some one who watches you every day and knows you viewer numbers daily.when i see you go from 6k-7k at dragons dogma play through to 12k-15k and when you talked about view botting thats when it clicked something was up.you almost tripled your numbers during your kick starters and now you are at 10k viewers every day around 10 am every single day which is still almost double your usual views.its not hard to see your viewers on twitch watching you.

since im not a sub or ever will be nor will i ever tip i can watch and objectively view it.lets say a streamer usually has about 1k views .then he tries to push a product and has 10k views wouldnt you think something is up.it just looks weird to see that much of an increase around a kick starter push.

i did also say if you WERE NOT DOING IT that some one else was because every day at around 10 am is see you with 10k views.also you second part of the day stream has went from 3k-4k views to 5k-6k views.which has ben your steady viewer increase of 1k-2k viewers over time.
from your archeage 3k-4k viewers to your rust and h1z1 play throughs which was 4k-5k viewers.then through your dragons dogma 5k-6k viewers.you see the pattern?through archeage to dragons dogna you had a 1k-2k viewer increase.

then you jumped from 6k-7k to 12-15k during your kick starters.you see why it caught my attention.it just seamed suspicious to see that much of an increase of viewers from your usual increase.yea i have watched you everyday and still do.like i said if you arnt doing it the some else is imo.

Silkey your numbers are .. off .. just off .. sorry to say. Cohh hasn't had 3k-4k views or even 5k-6k views during his morning streams in a very very very long time for any major game releases. The numbers don't hop around either, unless you're counting disconnects and the like, they go up from beginning and stay there until the end or until game change pretty constantly ...

I honestly wish he still had 3k regular viewers because that would mean a lot less chat activity, easier to read and the mods would have an easier time. Over the past year it got harder and harder to read all of the chat text, which only happens ~8k viewers for me personally .. which is pretty much constant now. Most of the time (again not including new game releases or the like) Cohh is hanging in high 4 digit or lower 5 digit viewer numbers during games he already played a lot before or where the hype is low and way higher for starting new games. Even during Dragon's Dogma, Cohh has often been over 10k. Sometimes even his afternoon streams regularly go over 10k nowadays depending on games.

Also on a side note, using this twinge stuff for statistics sounds like a really dumb idea in the first place, showing graphs without an X axis day description ... but even there it is a pretty flat linear graph over the last year.

Not sure when you watch or how often you watch, but these numbers simply don't come in line with the actual numbers that Cohh had over the past months .. and while I'm no longer actively modding and due to university don't chat as much as in the past, I still watch Cohh an average of 6-8 hours a day, mixed both between morning and afternoon streams.

The last big numbers were during Fallout 4, not during any kickstarter related stuff and actually the viewer numbers for the teamstreams were rather low compared to some of his higher viewer numbered game streams. Maybe we should bring the question up, how accurate your info is, or how much you participate in the community. Your tokens don't match up at all with a long time viewer, neither does your chat activity which is about once every 10 days. That alone doesn't say much. Maybe you watch from another account, or there are other reasons for your inactivity.

I let others decide for themselves how accurate they see your comments.

Let me just say that from someone, who has been active as a Viewer, Mod, Honorary Mod as well as NGS Ambassador, that not only do I know that the viewer numbers are pretty much what one would expect from a normal twitch viewership, with its ups and downs, but I've also been very happy that apart from a few team streams and the general mentions during his stream time, that the impact with what can be seen as advertisement from NGS was on the low end. I was worried that the kickstarter would affect his daily streams in a negative way, as for quality, but it was actually rather limited, which I was happy about.

how may views do you want to buy?

how may views do you want?1 month 500 views $19.00 or 1 month 1000 views for $29.99.also 1 month of 10000 views for $99.99.?
you views go up buy 500-1000 every hour or so till you log no other streamer does that and you could easily buy 4 of the $30
package and get they increase that you got of 4k viewers for $120 a month..its not much or hard to buy 4k viewers.as much a you are fighting just a lurker who is just going off of what he has seen over a good mount of time watching you.i have a gut feeling and you always go with your gut.

here is the link to the view bot you could buy.im a lurker and i found this out and you are being extremely defensive to just 1 lurker who just had a suspicion about the views.

*******

This is like talking to a wall. You can yell all you want, but all you get is a echo. And the echo goes like "View bot, view bot, view bot"

And to clarify, I did not mean to hire you in a way to get views.

I was pointing out that your a good person to hire, as you know what your talking about, its possible to have a meaningful conversation with you and I'm sure you are a nice person who just want to give people a good time. But all that is ofc irony. Please look it up before you respond.

I have noticed a strong correlation between the viewer figures and speed of chat flow WHEN there is something to say (e.g. missed loot or a safe combination). This indicates non-viewer bot caused figures. For instance the Dark Souls 2 stream that just ended had 15K viewers (probably partly as cohh was only significant streamer doing DS2 at this exact time) and at times the chat rushed by. I am watching cohh pretty solidly at present (not always also in chat) so have been able to compare different stream states fairly well.

To be fair to silkeysmooth I expect there will have been a jump in numbers around the kickstarters due to people being made aware, or being reminded, of his stream. I suspect many such people have decided to stay and are part of the continued higher numbers. (Even silkeysmooth admits he is worth watching!) This sort of jump in numbers is a synergy I would have expected from the KS promotion push, it does NOT mean there is some sort of nefarious master plan!

The scary thing with view boting is it can be used as a weapon. I have been hearing folks talk about viewers coming in threatening to use view bots to discredit a streamer. What is worse is if you do get them even when you never want them, there is nothing you can do. At least as far as I am aware of.

Well other than going ban happy.
