Divinity: Original Sin vs Pillars of Eternity? Help!?

So I'm in that mood again. It's time to play a CRPG... again. As you can tell from the thread title, I'm trying to decide between Divinity or Pillars. I want to play both but considering I can easily put 100+ hours into a CRPG I can only, realistically, find the time to play one. So I'm looking for your opinions.

For me, the most important aspects of these games are storyline and gameplay. Sure the graphics are important but will the story keep me interested? Yeah the music sets the mood but will some annoying gameplay feature, like bad companion AI or bad pathing, make me facepalm every 30 seconds?

If you have played one or both of these games, or know them well, please tell me what you think.

I played both of them. And it's a pretty difficult choice here. The thing is if you prefer voiced games then Divinity is the way to go. Pillars is an awesome game but you could lose your interest in it if you're not the happy reader they want you do be Story wise is Pillars the way to go. There is so much in it. It's crazy. In a good way hihi

I myself prefer Divinity just because i grew up with Larian Studios. Played the hell out of Divine Divinity when it released and it made me super happy when Divinity Original Sin came out.

They are both really good and up there in terms of quality. I preferred Divinity due to the art style they took and the voiced dialog they added.
Pillars arguably has the better and more in-depth story.
