Closed beta testing of Marvel Heroes will begin this month.
A representative of the free-to-play ARPG has confirmed with IGN that currently registered players will be able to opt in by checking a box in their account settings. Additionally, new players can register their interest in a Mac-specific sign-up that will go live later this month.
Though a fixed date was not confirmed, we do know that the resting will commence sometime in "late February."
This news follows Marvel Heroes' 2.2 update, which went live this week. Forge of Asgard adds options to customisation and character outfitting with the introduction of an Asgardian-themed crafting system. Players can craft items that bestow their superheroes with new powers, such as invisibility, sudden growth to the size of a Frost Giant, and the ability to fully heal.
