As you probably know, we had some "problems" with Twitch regarding the giveaways. It seems they changed the respective section (11.f) in their TOS very recently.
Check out their blog post about this: http://blog.twitch.tv/2014/04/twitch-te ... ce-update/
Does this mean we'll see hugeaways and other types of giveaways in the future again?
Small edit: I just heard Cohh saying he didn't see anything different to the past TOS, so here's just the things I noticed:
1) Streamers are given the right to carry out promotions as long as they're allowed according to law. Nothing else, which means:
2) You can choose freely who can enter promotions (only subs, only followers, only donators, etc.)
3) Everybody can enter, not only US citizens.
So it seems Twitch is basically just saying: Do giveaways if you want, but don't do anything that isn't allowed and we're not responsible for anything you do. Well, at least as long as they put line somewhere: “This is a promotion from [channel name]. Twitch does not sponsor or endorse broadcaster promotions and is not responsible for them.”
