Activating your collectors edition / standard edition

Since it keeps popping up in Twitch chat, here's what I know so far.

This is a cut/paste of an email that I received from Green Man Gaming - where I bought my copy of the collector's edition ...

Please note the codes are displayed in the following order:

1. Early Access / Pre-Order Code (18 digits)
2. Game Activation Code (20 digits)

How do I redeem my Game Activation Code?

You can redeem your Game Activation Code when prompted the first time you log in to the game.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WEBSITE WILL GO LIVE ON 27th AUGUST 2013.

Pre-order codes can still be redeemed via the pre-order site here- http://preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/us - until 31st December 2013.

Where do I download the game?

If you participated in the Final Beta test or Early Access periods of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn you will not need to download the game again.

If you have not downloaded the game during the Final Beta test or Early Access periods, please go to http://hosted.gmgfarm.com/ffxivsetup.exe to download it.

After you have finished installing, please run the game and enter your Square Enix Account credentials in the launcher to begin the automatic update process.

So basically, if you've received an e-mail like this above, you go to the link for the Mog Station. About halfway down the screen, there's a button called "Add Platform" - looks like the quest symbol from FFXIV. You'll add your Game Activation code there, and it'll change you to what edition you purchased. Your remaining days will also change from 4 days to 34 days. So you don't have to subscribe until the 34 days is up at the latest.

Hopefully Amazon/SE/wherever you bought your game will send out the Game Activation codes today. I know Green Man Gaming sent mine this afternoon.

Its a great help regardless of someone having gotten the code yet or not. You get 2 thumbs up in my books. The only codes i have recieved after ordering directly from SE's online store are the pre-order (4 segment) and early access code ( 5 segment, 20 digit) but atleast i know what to do when i get my CE code.
