I think just to list it up for sale was close to 40G. Then after it sells, they take a about 70G for the tax.

Isn't it 5% listing and 5% sale? a total of 10%.

Basically the trading post takes 5% of said weapon's worth.. Let's say 40g if it's 800g. then after you actually sell it. it subtracts 5% of the amount you're supposed to get. 800g - 40g = 760g. <- this is what you will actually receive after paying 40g to list it.

I think that's the way it worked. feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

All good Smitty... did all the world boss' and knocked out my dailies. Wasn't much activity with the guild last night anyway. I'll jump on later today after work and make sure I get the GOLD!

Also wondering if I should put it up for sale just under what the lowest price is ? Don't think these precursor hammers are coming off the shelf as quick. If I put it for the full price, it might sit there for a very long time.

Is there a time limit an item has to sale once you list it?

There is not a time limit for selling an item that has been listed. It can sit there for a year and still not get sold. But I would dive just under the lowest price myself because personally. I don't know alot of people that are looking for that hammer. I already asked around

Yeah just might have to do that. Top listing price was 800g I think but the lowest out of the group was like 680g - FML. Big gap of $$$

But like you said, that hammer is not really in demand atm. Best to just get the lowest bid, sell it and by the time someone buys the item for the full listed price, I've made up that gold from playing.

The hammer might be in demand more after the announcement of Heart of Thorns(release date)/75% off weekend. Alot of new players during those days. give them a few weeks and they might start working towards a legendary. This requires some patience though :p

Decided to just insta-sell it as a player had a decent bid of 720 ish. With tax, list fee, and "juice" taken out... i'm sitting just above 600, Woot!
