Hey Cohh, I think in Fallout 2, you have to be an jet addict. And are you going to play with the restoration project? I think the game is not complete without it.

Name: Sledge
Selected Skills:
ST
- 8
PE - 5
EN - 8
CH - 2
IN - 9
AG - 7
LK - 1

Tag skills:
- Melee Weapons
- Science
- Repair

Traits:
- Heavy Handed
- Bloody Mess

Playthrough Style & Bio:
Sledge is a recognizable character in his home village. The reason for that might lie within his tendency to talk about things so complex that noone, even the local shaman Hakim, can comprehend. It is also possible, that he acquired his fame by being able to repair almost every fixable construction in Arroyo.
But if you'd ask any villager about him you'd hear that he is one ugly lookin' bastard without no luck and unhealthy habit of ingesting vast amounts of diffrent available drugs(including, but not limited to - jet, buffout and healing powder) before hunting prey.
The rush of his drug-ridden escapades usually concludes with a few mutilated gecko corpses and a bloody mess.

Playstyle:
Melee combat, preferably a hammer.
Sledge is strangely fascinated with mutilating bodies of his enemies, especially their limbs(legs, arms) during a fight.
He will stash every drug he can get his hands on, lacing himself with them before a fight.
Eventually he'll declare a personal war-on-drugs("If that jet cannot be mine, it won't be yours either"). This applies to EVERY drug dealer in the wastes.
Other than that, he is a normal, intelligent conversationalist, interested in science and engineering(repair skill).

Perks:
level 3 - Quick Pockets - there is nothing better that ingesting even MORE drugs and chemicals during the cobat, especially NOW, that it costs even less!
level 6 - Bonus Move - enemy running away? No matter how many times you click on your hammer, there is no option to throw it at someone? Pick bonus move today! Terrified enemies guaranteed to be caught swiftly.
level 9 - Bonus HtH Danage - what's even better than bloody carnage being displayed everywhere you go? More bloodshed, now with additional damage!
level 12 - Action Boy - Make sure your enemies are getting their daily dose of the hammer even more frequently.
level 15 - Bonus HtH Attacks - If your enemies were getting hammered frequently on level 12-14, now they are going to take their hammer addiction into a completely different level.
level 18 - Tag! - During his adventures in the wastes, Sledge understood that there are other things that can efficiently replace a melee weapon. He misplaced his hammer once, and, with a surge of brilliance, decided to use his bare hands. To his and some poor guy's suprise, it worked out pretty well. (pick unarmed)
level 21 - Gain Agility - We are going to take this one step further, making sure cold-steel up close weapon(and fist!) overdose is the only thing that anyone with no-good intentions is going to feel within your vicinity.
level 24 - Slayer - I am not even going to say how much pain and suffering this perk is going to bestow upon your enemies, so I'll just let you see for yourself. Just be sure to have at least 8 agility and 80% unarmed before reaching level 24. This is a must.

Hagan was born with a deformity on one arm. Due to his small frame and deformed arm he was bullied a lot, so he had to get into a lot of fights and develop his other arm really well. He is a master of both melee and fists. He prefers solving problems with his fists rather than wits and he never turns down a chance for a challenge, always looking for stronger opponents. Due to the bullying he prefers going solo and will only accept help if he really needs it. His solo lifestyle led him to be a master of the great outdoors, having to learn living off the wasteland.

Derpentine was not the brainiest person but he certainly knew when to run away in a fight. His amazing skill of running out of a tight situation and still manage to destroy his opponents seems to be a skill know known to him.

He was once a great admirer of the brotherhood of steel as his best friend joined some years ago but found out that he died in an ambush and thus decided to find them and join them in his name and to find out what happened.

Calissa has an extreme fascination with "collecting" things. She can't help but "borrow" items from anyone she comes across, though finds it very offensive if she is called a thief. She feels she is only safeguarding these items so that people don't lose them. Calissa, when pushed, prefers to break jaws with her fists but has no problem blowing out a kneecap or two if the situation calls for it.

Bio: The fact that Max, and his whore mother, are a descendents of the Enclaves right hand man Pre Great War, has extremely stunted your families reputation in the vault community. As such, along with an absent mother, "Good Friends" hasn't really been something Max has ever wanted or even looked for except in pets he had growing up from rats to a giant hissing roach he found fighting a centipede down by the water treatment works. The acquaintances he did have growing up were always the wrong kind of riff raff he used until the knowledge he needed was acquired i.e. explosives, and being unseen. He is a loner with an un-nurtured love of books, which will eventually lead him to actually being able to hold a conversation. Wishes his life didn't turn out like it has. Secretly wants to be a "good person", whatever that is in this world.
He has an extreme liking of shotguns as when he is in a bad situation he usually finds it up close and personal due to his extraordinary seeking abilities which allow him to get up close and personal.
Occasional out of character choices: Cohh's choice .... we all do odd things out of character here and there.

Wendell had a tough time in the vault. He was constantly pushed around for his weird name, spindly looks and and dumb manner. One day he decided to put this to an end he went to a former doctor and promised the man payment if he could preform plastic surgery to make is face irresistible. Wendell then spent every waking hour after that in the vault's gym working out until he was decently muscled. Wendell loves the feel of Big Guns, enjoys the feel of Energy Weapons and can deal with melee. On the other hand he hates small firearms* (do not use any small firearms* unless it is your only weapon currently or there is a damage margin of at least 12 more than your current melee big gun or Energy weapon). Play this character as a jock, he is attractive and athletic but isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Lvl. 9 Dodger OR Explorer
Lvl. 12 Tag!
All the rest of the perks for the next levels you can choose!

Small Guns

The Small guns skill determines your character’s effectivenss with convential firearms: pistols, rifles, smgs etc. These guns are the most common in the game and because of this a good choice for your main combat skill.

There’s a lot of locked doors and containers in the game world. Raising this stat early on not only gives yous access to the treasures that lie beyond these locks but is a nice little XP booster, as each successful Lockpick use gives you some bonus XP.

I'm not often a big fan of Speech skills in rpg’s. I tend to prefer focusing on my combat skills. But fallout 2 is a hard game and not only will a high speech skill make it a little easier, it’ll also allow you access to quests and dialogue options that would otherwise be inaccessible.

Occasionally his speach is accented (of Cohh's choosing) from growing up around various foreign tutors who had managed to find refuge in the Vault before the world was near ruined.

Attributes:
Strength - 10 / Heroic

Endurance - 8 / Great
Charisma - 6 / Good
Intelligence - 8 / Great
Agility - 10 / Heroic
Luck - 2 / Bad

Traits:

Gifted

Skills:
Unarmed
Melee Weapons
Steal

Level Perks:
3 - Thief (His attempts to manage his kleptomania lead him into less than savory skills)
6 - Pack Rat (A natural hoarder, Arnold likes to have plenty of room for all the things he steals) otherwise
- Bonus Move (Quick to slip in a bit closer to enemies during a fight to get in those hard melee hits)
9 - Dodger (Martial arts training eventually leads him to being a bit harder to hit)
12 - Master Thief (If he's honed his lockpicking enough) otherwise
- HtH Evade (An even deadlier marital artist who's guise of inaction during combat actually makes him amazingly hard to hit)

Playthrough Style & Bio:

Growing up with little to do in the Vault, Arnold honed his mind and body to near peaks of perfection. Having a natural gift, he possesses untold strength and agility and greater than normal endurance and intelligence. Unfortunately his desire to hone his marital arts skills came with an even greater desire to have it all. The kleptomania ran DEEP and he always had a hard time keeping his agile fingers out of other peoples pockets. Unluckily, this tends to get him into a few too many fights when he's caught, but he's found that a few bruises (and broken bones) tend to change his pick pocket targets minds on keeping 'their' stuff.

(Arnold has a tendancy to pickpocket NPC's often, but left to Cohh's discretion on targets so as not to affect possibly having to kill Important Merchants or other Questgivers.)

Michael has never been smart, since he was dropped on his head when he was a baby. He's a simple man who was fast and lucky with sharp eyes.

Perks: awereness, quick pockets, better criticals, gain percpection, bonus rate of fire, action boy, sniper. The rest cohh can choose.

Since Michael is moran, he tries every chem once when he finds them. But gets addicted to jet, and tries to hoard jet as much as he can. (Must use every now and then in combat) Michael loves to steal everything he can, but always feels bad about it. He believes in karma and tries to do as much good in life as possible, to keep his soul in balance.
End game weapon is gauss pistol (because that sweet 2AP shot).

And needless to say, install the Restoration project and the unofficial Fallout 2 patch. http://www.nma-fallout.com/showthread.p ... pansion%29

Bio:
Had Tiff been born at a different time, she could have become either a ditzy cheerleader, or brooding emo. However living in the village made her trade her pompoms and "impressive" emotional scars into more productive alternatives. While she manages to miss most things said between the lines, she is no slouch in using her impressive verbal skills to further her quest. And if that fails, she has enough skills in Small Guns to handle herself, or atleast dodge anything coming at her. Not specifically good or evil, Tiff isn't opposed to doing what is necessary, but refrains from going full samaritan, either bad or good. She is generally nice, but gives more than enough back when somene is being openly rude to her.

Playstyle: She's open to using all venues, but isn't always perceptive enough to turn everyone against eachother to come out on top. She's also naive enough to try most things atleast once, be it gambling, Jet, or anything between. She's charismatic enough to get a big posse behind her, and moral enough to hate slavers.

PS: Considering Fallout 1 character was Dustin Diamond, I wanted to continue the Saved by the Bell theme with another actor from the same series. Also, I personally never played Fallout 2 as a female, so I would like to see this.

Fallout restoration project also includes killap's unofficial fallout 2 patch and official 1.02 patch. The patch fixes well over 800+ bugs left in the game. Restoration project add all the missing content (locations, NPCs, items, etc.), that were pulled or left unfinished in the original game, as well as fix some bugs where possible.

6: Magnetic Personality (or a Cohh Free Choice)
9: Path Finder
12: Strong Back (or a Cohh Free Choice)
15: Weapon Handling
18+: From this point onward, perks are chosen purely by Cohh.

Playthrough Style & Bio:

Mariennah has always had a fierce nature, more often than not resorting to violence, despite her brilliance. She has a fascination of hand to hand combat (playing dirty with knuckles and a superlove for Power Fists), but whenever that isnt feasible, she changes over to the biggest guns around, preferring miniguns over any other weapon.

Despite this, she is smart enough to realise she needs to "attend her other skills", and can therefore spend some time honing these, she reads every skillbook she can find and spends an obscene amount of resources to get them (whenever she finds a skillbook, she HAS to buy it - or steal it - and then read it immediately, regardless of its cost).

Mariennah is also a "gentle soul" (*cough, cough*), never killing innocent people - unless that is the necessity to gain skill-books. On the other hand, she is very brash and chooses the violent way of dealing with things if that is possible, AND in addition to that choses to fight every animal she finds - this does not include wannamingoes and deathclaws, but it does include geckos. Just to have something to abuse..
However, even if she often feels the need to punch out animals, her preferred kind of companion is a dog.
This also means she feels the compulsion to attend to any and all brawls she finds, be it barfights, arguments gone wrong, and more.. "prizey" fights.
But then again, even though Mariennah loves fighting, she is bright enough to realise when fighting is for another day - outnumbered, severely wounded and without health replenishment is not a good combination, but 2 out of 3 still makes for a good fight!

She also have an insatiable hunger, a need to eat something - amassing alot of food, and uses up all food as healthgaining before she uses stimpacks, but she refuses all drugs such as Jet, Psycho, Mentats, Buffout and alchohols, though she can easily use other buffing consumables (Or in other words, Mariennah refuses consumables that has a chance of addiction, with the exception of RadAway and Nuka-Cola.)

When it comes to armor, Leather doesnt stand high in Mariennahs eyes. She rather not be seen alive in a Leather Jacket, and can hardly force herself to use a Leather Armor. The best she can do, is use Combat Leather Jacket, but as soon as she can, she changes to anything else, even if it's just an ordinary Robe. (You're allowed to circumvent this only by giving your companions "the lesser armor", and only having a leather one for yourself, but you have to change it asap - and Leather Jacket is a clear no-no, she wont use it. Period.)

Mariennah is also very fond of keeping up her appearance, refusing to sell any sort of Necklace, makeup, Mirrored Shades and ball-gags she comes across - though it isnt necessary to buy them if she come across a vendor having it. She just refuses to sell them, but she can store them somewhere else.

(This also means she raises her Tag skills with Unarmed, Barter and Big Guns in no particular order, and doesnt stop until they're 100% before upping any other skills - with the exception for 4 skillpoints per every level that Cohh can, and must, spend freely; 15 (or 17, should Cohh chose to use his Free SPECIAL on Intelligence) allocated to tagskills, and 4 to free skill. As soon as all three tag-skills are raised to atleast 100% each, Cohh is free to spend the majority of his points as he wishes, but regardless of costs, he has to raise *atleast* one tag-skill with *atleast* one point - the rest of the points are freely distributed as Cohh see fit.

Regarding SPECIAL points, raising these through any means necessary is perfectly fine, as long as it isnt by drugs/alcohol.

Cohh Free Choice of perks is a one-time thing; if a Free Choice has been used once, Cohh cannot use a Free Choice again.

Companion of "choice" would be all dogs available, taking a dog with you before taking any other companion. If you find a dog you cannot take with you due to compantion-limits, you have to let go of a humanoid companion in order to get the dog. This includes *every dog-companion* in the game that you so far have found; you must do everything you can in order to have that dog accompanying you. For the free companion space you havent filled up so far, any other companion of choice is allowed.

Mariennah is, due to her "gentle soul" aspect of her, not allowed to kill children. Being rude, hateful and not helping them is one thing, but killing them is a no-no.
