Hey cohhilition!
I’ve always been a console gamer and would love to make the switch to pc. I’ve read that building is the way to go but I’ve never done it. Any advice is appreciated!
My budget is: $1500
I live in: US
Operating system: windows
Monitor: need one, decent sized
Gaming resolution : something respectable
Peripherals?: need the basics, decent mouse keyboard speakers
Will you do overclocking?: not sure what that is
What are you planning to do with the pc?: mainly gaming
I appreciate any and all advice! Thanks in advance!

I honestly don't know the prices of parts anymore. AMD just announced some super nice new CPUs and graphics cards. For $1500 you could probably build a very nice machine. I'd actually recommend the pcmasterrace subreddit:

They specialize in this kind of stuff.
