Thanks System > Karma System

Ok so i shall explain both systems!

Thanks system:
Displays a "Thank" button under every post and when clicked the name of the person that thanked the post would appear under the post!
There would also be a counter for the number of thanks gotten where the current karma numbers are!
There is no thumbs down button so no hating!
This can't be abused since the names would appear!

Karma system:
You can upvote and downvote which allows for hating!
Just look at my karma, its already -5 but for what? Someone explain that to me!
Karma system is basically a popularity/hating contest towards a person instead of actually thanking someone for a useful, funny, etc post!
This can be abused without anybody noticing since names do not appear!

Therefor i suggest a thanks system instead of the karma system!

Check to the far right option near the Quote button at the top of each post

Its not exactly what i described but its close!
Also will the karma system be removed or will it stay?

Just look at my karma... its -7 now... For what? What did I do wrong?

I think you'll get so much dislikes because you dislike the karma system. It's all about karma.

It seems to only be affecting you and probably cause you keep pointing it out lol Just learn to ignore the mean people on the interwebz But like i said, rodr1c will read over these suggestions and decide

I believe they should both stay, Karma system shows the nice people/non spammers etc whilst the 'Thanks' post would generally show if the person is helpful and you can go to them to find out information etc.

9 times out of 10 neither of them work as they are suppose to though because friends will just 'Thank' other friends or give Karma to each other for no reason.
