Ultra Street Fighter 4 is without question, the biggest burst of new content Capcom has ever delivered for their flagship fighter. It’s bigger than Super, it’s MUCH bigger than Arcade Edition, and from the time I spent playing it with Capcom’s Peter “Combofiend” Rosas, I think it’s got a very good shot at revitalizing the four-year-old brawler both competitively and casually. Ultra brings five new playable characters to the table (one of whom has never been in a Street Fighter game), along with six new stages, three entirely new gameplay mechanics, and the newly-announced online training mode. Factor in the largest balancing pass it’s ever seen, and you practically have a formula for an entirely new game.
