Starting a new character or continuing on from an old one?

i'm starting brand new. i had a guardian almost max lvl but i wanna play something new so i started a ranger. i may try necro or elementalist too.

I have a low lvl character and it would be great to play with someone that is experienced and is starting fresh.

I could pick up the game with making a new character again, I never really got very far with my previous characters - only about Lv 35.

they put the 'guest' system. you got your home server that will always stay your home server, but you can 'guest' on other servers. basically it means you can create new character, but cant transfer your other ones to other servers.

Okay, I'll make a new character on the server and contact you there! Probably have to install some updates first though, haha.

Ah turns out I can't join anyway, You can't make characters on new servers without actually paying to transfer nor can you Guest EU -> NA servers.

the website is amazing ! but theres something i dont understand, how do you know on which server the dungeon is ?

It doesn't matter anymore.  When you group up, you all go into the same instance no matter the server.
