Skills:
There's a couple schools of thought on which skill to focus your Actuators on, Gamma Rays or Quantum Cascade. It really depends on playstyle as either are entirely viable given how you want to play your medic.
Assault
- Discharge - builds Actuators, do not spend any Ability Points on this
- Gamma Rays - Actuator damage, use after Fissure to generate an Actuator. Pick this or Quantum Cascade, not both. Focus Ability Points on this after Fissure.
- Nullifier - sustained damage, not recommended due to way ability is cast as well as the mobility of combat rendering the damage output subpar.
- Fissure - burst damage, at Tier 4 will cause Gamma Rays/Quantum Cascade to generate 1 Actuator if used at full Actuators. Focus Ability Points on this
- Devastator Probes - sustained damage, do not recommend going past Tier 3 as Tier 4 ability defeats purpose of sustained damage
- Quantum Cascade - Actuator damage, use after Fissure to generate an Actuator. Pick this or Gamma Rays, not both. Focus Ability Points on this after Fissure.
- Collider - burst damage, use once enemy is below 70% health once this is a Tier 4 ability. Focus Ability Points on this after Gamma Rays/Quantum Cascade
- Annihilation - damage, unlock this ability as soon as possible, short cooldown will allow it to deal tremendous damage. Focus Ability Points after Collider.
- Atomize - reactionary damage based on critical hit, can generate Actuator. Pick this or Dual Shock, not both. Typically used for group Adventures or Dungeons.
- Dematerialize - situational damage, this will be useful for fights in the end-game, during leveling and earlier adventures & dungeons this is less beneficial.
- Dual Shock - reactionary damage/healing. Pick this or Atomize, not both. Typically used for solo questing.
- Paralytic Surge - keep this on your hotbars at all times, it is the only interrupt a Medic has. Do not spend Ability Points on this skill.
Assault
- Strikethrough 3
- Assault Power 3
- Armor Pierce 3
- Recycler - for Actuator generation
- In Flux - increases damage between Actuator attacks
- Empowering Aura - increases Critical Hit Chance
- Annihilation - unlocks the skill, must have
- Danger Zone - increase in damage when near enemies
- Critical Hit 3
- Critical Hit Severity 3
- Scalpel! Forceps! - grants bonus damage/healing depending on spec
- Power Cadence - Actuator generation every 15 seconds
Here is my typical "rotations" or skill priorities.
- Devastator Probes
- Fissure
- Quantum Cascade
- Annihilation
- Dual Shock (if proc)
- Collider, Collider
- Discharge (back to 4 Actuators)
- Paralytic Surge if your health drops too low or the enemy has a telegraph you can't dodge
If you're unsure of your damage you can save Dual Shock for a second or so to use as a heal more than a damage burst.
I also recommend swapping Dual Shock out for Atomize when doing Adventures and Dungeons as you will have a dedicated healer that can heal you.
