I am looking for thought and assistance in picking the pieces and parts to put together a solid gaming PC that will last me years to come. I am looking to spend 1500-2000 dollars to get that system. Would like to be able to support up to 4 monitors, 250 GB ssd to support operating system and either standard 1tb(2tb) hybrid or standard drive to store data for play. This will be strictly my gaming PC, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and welcomed.

I'm not the best at suggestion parts and stuff but if you go to http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/ you might get a more in-depth and faster response. Lots of knowledgeable people in that place to help you out!
Sometimes I'll pop my head in to chat...

there are actually people here who know much and help, plus one thing that is better with the smaller forums is that there isnt so many people and therefore it is easier to discuss and make the not so good sugestions understand why they are bad.Kiratze wrote:I'm not the best at suggestion parts and stuff but if you go to http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/ you might get a more in-depth and faster response. here ya go, i will walk you throught the parst one by one.
processor:
you get the new 4790k with 4 cores and hyperthreading which might help you in the future.
Cpu cooler:
i took a h105 since it is a bit thicker than the h100i and therefor gets better cooling capability.
motherboard:
i took a board that supports crossfire(dual gpu) for the future and since you had som money to spend i went for a bit more expensive board and that gets you super-quallity components and really good overclockability plus the red theme is shmexy
Memmory:
weöö this is simple. you got money enough for 16gb and these were both fast and cheap and red
Graphicscard:
i went with the r9 290 and not the 780 since it is cheap and got more vram which is nice for higher resolutiions, then it has amd mantle which is nice and freesync on the way.
Psu:
I went for the evga 850 g2 so that you can go crossfire and overclock. the series itself is praised by everyone and it gets topscores eveywhere.
SSD:
well here comes the beasty part, instead of one 256gb ssd i took 2 256gb ssd that you can run in raid 0 for dubble speed
hdd:
once again i took a 3tb so that you never run out of space, plus its is a wd black so it got a really long life spann
so mount the radiator in the top and the ssds in the brackets on the psu cover and you will get a really sexy system that is super fast.
