I am currently doing a modded Skyrim playthrough i wanted to post this before Cohh start with Dragonborn DLC.

(dont read if you don`t want to destroy your playthrough before getting to Miraak battle part)
Now to the point. A lot of people having this issue and it was never fixed (at least i haven`t found any patches). The point is that the last battle in main quest line in DB DLC which is the one with Miraak is bugged/glitched for a lot of people and recently it glitched for me aswell. I was looking for best way to go around the bug and i found it. In diffrent forums gamers talk about how they avoid this glitch but they may not allways work and not for everyone.
I wanted to repeat all the ways to go around this that i read on other forums but i guess there is no point since they may not allways work so i will just say how i did but i got to warn you that with this way you wont have any fun of fight.
"Okay, okay but what`s the glitch about?"
Well, once you beat miraak to 40% of his health he will go to ethereal form becoming unkillable he then kills one of his dragons and absorb his soul to heal. The problem is that if you hit him too hard he will glitch and never leave that state (or you absorb the souls of dragons the result is the same). This part repeats three times, one for each dragon (he can glitch at any part of the fight). The best advice you can find on forums is that don`t fight him with OP weapon, dont deal too much dmg, and dont kill him too fast. Though it worked for my first playthrough a year ago, it didn`t worked today. I was trying for 4 hours many diffrent ways to finish him and i doubt i missed better option than the one i found although rp players may not be intersted in it.
SOLUTION:
Once you get to the tower he will talk few words before he finish open console (`) and type tgm (toggle god mode, i know
) and hit enter. Then before dragon flies off (there`ll be one) open console again then click on dragon and type kill and hit enter, then close console dragon will die and miraak will absorb his soul. Then you want to use Bend Will shout on another dragon that is flying around (one of them won`t listen, one will), repeat the killing part, and do the same with third dragon. After that you can either hit miraak in the face with anything or toggle off tgm (god mode, just type tgm in the console and hit enter) and have fun with miraak for few minutes.You can find on forums people who tells you to use setstage command even though it work you can`t loot miraak`s body because it will disapear, with my solution you will be able to loot all three dragons and mirak himself.
I wish all you guys not getting this glitch but if you do, and can`t get past this i hope i helped at least one dude out there.
