Check out www.futuremark.com and under hardware. There you can compare most of the graphics card and CPUs. But the build looks pretty OK. Only thing i can think of that you can do is to buy 8 more gb of RAM. The price isn't so different between 8 and 16 GB of RAM.

Another thing is you should change the HDD to a SSD + HDD Hybrid. It's a HDD with pretty much the same speed as a SSD, but with the size of a HDD. If you can find a cheap hybrid, go for it. If not, atleast consider a SDD with that HDD for your OS, because it will change your life!

here is a according to me better option that is built to be upgraded and will last "forever"
first we start with the most odd thing the cpu, this thing is a bit weaker at multithreaded games but the great thing is that it overclocks like hell and with that oc you got a processor that is way better in fewthreaded applications(most games today are)
http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-G3258-vs-AMD-FX-6300 if you look at those scores most amd favors are things that can be easly turned arouned wit
h a overclock. Then there is the huge advangtage of upgradabillity, if you feel your cpu doesnt give you enough power you can just get a stronger haswell/haswell refresh cpu and even a broadwell when they come out

i chose the cooler for two simple reasons its quiet and its needed for that oc.

now to the motherboard and psu, i started the build with a cheaper motherboard but when i came to the psu i realised that there was only one choice the evga g2 750w(lowest watt model in that series), why is the evga g2 so good then well check out johnnyguru's review.
http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?na ... 6&reid=380
and since you had all those watts to spare why not take a crossfire compatible motherboard as well.

Ram is nothing to talk about, cheapest 8gb kit there was

then we get to the gpu part, here is where the build starts to run away i think the r9 280x is to good value but the r9 270x is also good value so there its up to you there is about 80£ diffrence
Image

the storage and case are both pretty simple, cheapest possible. the case is really good for the money since you get dustfilters and i added a fan in the front for additonal airflow

ok here is a list how to make it cheaper if you want to(i dont recommend it though)
1. remove the front fan -16.40
2.cheaper gpu -80
3.cheaper psu and motherboard -50
5. 60gb ssd/no ssd -7 / -43
6. stock cooler - 49(you can wait with this one though)
as i said i do not recommend any of these and but if you really have to.

looks like good stuff, but keep you current ram(its a bit slow but you wont feel a big difference) and buy a 240gb ssd instead

you seem to have a thing for corsair althought here is what i think is better
psu: evga g2 750w
cooler: nh-u12s
case:i think you should spend some more money on this, go for a arc midi r2 or a phanteks enthoo pro
ram:keep it you wont notice any difrence between the speeds, 1333 isn what i would recommend if you were buying a new computer but if you already have it i see no reason to buy new
