I do not like to craft in MMOs. It bores me and I think it's tedious. Is Archage still worth playing?

you can buy most everything on AH you do not have to craft xcept your boat you will have to build that i think but you can buy the materials on the AH you can also just let your crafting points build up buy 7k iron ore on ah and just craft while you are off doing other things if you feel the need in future.

This is kind of late and you will most likely have found your answer already but this is for those that randomly stumble upon this post.
You can play Archeage without ever having craft anything.
The best gear in the game comes from crafting it. You can craft it yourself or you can buy it from others who craft it. Here is the tradeoff.
- Crafting in this game is like gambling. You get to craft basic tiers of gear up until a tier called Illustrious. Once there, you can still craft but you won't know exactly what you are crafting. For example, I am crafting leather gloves. I get it to the Illustrious tier. From there I get a sort of RNG box type item. This box will give me an Illustrious tier glove once I open it. There is a chance of it being from anywhere between 1 of 4 types of gloves with varying stats and set bonuses. You may get something you want or not at all. The bright side is that you can sell it on the AH regardless of what you get. You essentially have to repeat this as many times until you get what you want. The other downside is that you will either be purchasing your own materials to craft from the AH(money either wasted or saved depending on if you get what you want) or planting/harvesting/farming your own materials(wasted time?).
- IF you buy off the AH, you will get exactly what you are looking for. The tradeoff is that you may be spending more gold, or possibly less depending on how your crafting route goes. Now...Keep in mind that these pieces will go for a high amount on the AH this early into the game which leads into the next point.
-Making money usually means you need to start somewhere. That somewhere in this game mostly boils down to farming/harvesting/planting/etc. This in itself is a tedious task as you plant/place something down on your land, wait for it to mature(takes real life time). For example a tree can take form 14Hours to 2 Days+ to fully mature before you can harvest it. And even then, you will only get a certain amount from the harvest thus making you repeat this process until you have enough to make a trade run(way of making money).
-You can also opt into pirating(stealing other's trade packs) and going from there but it might be even more tedious trying to find people to kill that are alone and whatnot.
TL;DR - This game is heavily focused on tedious things. Crafting is a big part of this game's endgame. You can create your own endgame because of it being sandbox but taking crafting away takes a lot of possibilities from that experience. This game is designed for those playing it to be patient. They expect you to take your time and not rush through content. Tedious is essentially part of it being Archage.
