My gaming laptop is getting old so I decided to see what I can do to improve it´s performance.

What does the Cohhilition think about these to apps?
  1. Geforce Experience - http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience
  2. Razor Game Booster - http://www.razerzone.com/cortex/game-booster
Do you recomend others?

Thx :D

well i dont know what razer does but experience is pretty handy for downloading drivers and if your not so technical it can calibrate the settings to. The other thing you should do is some defrag and registry cleaning on your harddrive.

I am sure you have a regular HDD but just in case if you do have an SSD, don't defrag the system. Not only does it produce little if any gains, it can also reduce the lifespan of an SSD.... I just wanted to make sure in-case you did have a SSD

Thx Scorpsquad,

I have a regular HDD but thanks for the SDD info, it´s useful for all other gaming laptop players.

I have thought about giving up my DVD drive space for a SDD, actually

ps. I´ll give you a follow on twitch, see you when you stream!!!

duplikator, Thank you for the follow. Right now l am part time and wont be able to promote a full time stream unfortunately.... I wish I could do full time but work prevents me :(

Also, If you get an SSD you can never go back... Just sayin. lol

Also I wanted to say, I have been definitely trying to get rid of m laptop DVD drive but when it comes to gaming laptop, it's a must to purchase with unfortunately. CD/DVD/BDD is on the last leg of obsolete. Even BD movies are becoming obsolete. Only people that purchase them now are if they want to have the true HD experience that is not compressed like online is. As for me the desktop has a BDD so when I buy a movie, I can convert it to MKV and have a loss-less movie experience... Not huge difference but with my eyes I can spot the pixilation lol.

And make sure your ready for SSD. It's like a smartphone, when you buy it you can never go back. lol
