Im looking into buying a new gaming laptop. I travel a lot and dont really have space for a full PC so i game on a laptop, anyway my budget is 900 i can go up a little. i have a laptop in mind i just have some questions about it.
im mostly a console gamer but would like to play games like skyrim and fallout for the mods. also i would like to know if this would be enough to play newest games on atleast medium graphics. so would this laptop meet my needs i really dont know. here is the link http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/ASUS-ROG-G56JK-Laptop

that looks good.if you have another 100 bucks you can get a 860 or you can wait and save up for the 965m(maxwell architecture which is very efficient) but that hasnt been released yet

You can't really replace a gfx card in a laptop like that. You have to buy it when you are ordering the laptop the first time.

Look at the performance change here: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-860 ... e-GTX-850M

You also must remember that you buying an investment. You will be gaming, browsing, relaxing, working, etc on this laptop. Saving only $100 right now may cost you up to a year in usage, where you have to upgrade the whole thing sooner rather than later.

I highly recommend the ASUS ROG line - I game and stream on mine, high quality, without issues (other than poorly optimized day-1 games like Dying Light :p ).
