E.T. = Because I hate myself ... (j/k)
I have to say of all time...
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
I played the poo out of that game. I even took my parents VHS recorder, and recorded myself going through a perfect play through when I was younger.

Best game ever for me is the old good StarCraft
As I received my very first PC, I installed StarCraft before I installed anything else.
Two more games are in my most fav. list - Diablo 2 and Quake 3. True D2 fans were disappointed by D3 but Grinding Gear Games has made something remarkable - created Path Of Exile which is an AMAZING Diablo-like game. There are many other games which I like and all but these games can't be in my most favourite list because after you beat the game, you simply don't play it anymore, I'm talking about awesome games like Far Cry 3, 4!

My favorite game would have to be Guild Wars 1. I liked the game. Loved making builds to do the seemingly impossible on my ranger. love the lore and I was very invested into the community. All in all that game has given me the best overall experience I have ever had in a game.
Console: Final Fantasy VII - AKA the game that started my addiction to RPGs
PC (master race): Everquest up til Planes of Power expansion (I hated the direction the game was going in after that). I was so addicted to that game in high school, and had dial-up internet. The # I used to connect to the internet was long distance so... yeah I pretty much ran up a few phone bills of $500+.
Loved Everquest. Played from day one in 1999 and also quit during the planes of power expansion for exactly the same reasons. was never a fan of the plane of knowedge or the nexus. Mostly as my main was a Halfling Druid and travel (Druid ring spells) was a key componant of that class. people would be calling in chat OOC for teleports all over Norrath.
I still think travel in MMO's today should be epic and the journey should be half the battle.
Insta teleport stones, hubs with portals to all areas is something I really dislike.
At least the old way people had to seek out other people and communicate.
I also remember fondly that groups in EQ quite often lasted for hours, sometimes all night.
Nowadays in the newer MMO's your lucky if a group lasts more that 30mins, or if they even speak to you.
Ahh well. Everquest was good times.

My favorite MMO will be Everquest, I played it for roughly 8 years.
Favorite FPS is Tribes 1 I played that from launch until it had 50 members of the community left.
Favorite RPG is tough to decide. I really like all of the old Square games before the became Enix.

My favorite all-time game is either SSX 3 or The World Ends with You.
SSX 3 was such an enjoyable snowboarding game for me and to me was an incredible improvement from Tricky (which was a massive improvement from the initial SSX) in regards to controls and race courses. It's always fun to go back to, so I love playing it on and off just playing it over and over again. The soundtrack is good and the customization was fun and moderately unique to each individual.
TWEWY was the best DS game released on the handheld. It used all the DS's components and created an innovative control system for a game. Not to mention it worked identically well for right- and left-handed players of the game. The art style and combat are both great. The replayability was surprisingly high due to the secret pages and Bonus Day. Also, Tin Pin was fun.

favorite game! UO hands down its the game that got me started.. It introduced me to guilds to many of my current friends and OMG PVP! after that its been eq2 tried and true since the start even active now with raiding. Ya the game has its issues and yes its stale but its like that batSH!# ex GF you just cant stop yourself from going back cause its a good ride. I would like something to take my breath away again like eq2 did when i saw my first dragon.
