Starmade is a game with mechanics similar to minecraft.
It starts out with you building a small space ship and collecting resources, you can then build bigger spaceships.
What I like: The customization and all out exploration
What I dislike: Can be buggy
Overall: I give this game a 9.5 stars for being a simply amazing exploration space customization game! I find it very replay-able thanks to the different block types!

Could you please post information on where to get it, etc. I looked on Steam and could not find it in the Store.
I will search the interweb also but for future reference and new players. Thanks.

You can find it here: http://star-made.org/ it is free to download in its current state but you can also buy it for 6.00 USD to upgrade your StarMade account and secure the cheaper price.

I find the exploration a bit lacking unless you have a ton of models in the catalog so the pirates can vary a lot. Also the combat system is really flawed, and the ship customizations is actually pretty low ( would like to see weapon variants / more engine types / power types etc. , more stuff to do on a space station other than dock and factory, enemy variety because the basic ones without some catalog models are garbage bad), I like the fact that you can mess with the AI, some of the ships people created are amazing, and maybe i haven't played the game long enough to experience its true potential. All in all Starmade has many Flaws but is still an enjoyable game.

Got it downloaded, hoping to start playing when/if we get a Cohhilition Server. Just went through the tutorial real quick which didn't help much. If anyone is on it, hit me up and I'll join but be prepared for questions.

From what i have read on the forums and announcements on the StarMade site, there are a lot of mechanics being tweaked and plans to implement many more building options.
