hey everyone, im looking into upgrading my sound input and output, for a mic im PROBABLY getting a Samson Meteor mic. looks decent and sound better than most things on that price range but for a headphone im in the fence with a few models

0-50€ - Vic Firth SIH 1, Sennheiser HD-201, Samson SR950
~100€ - Sony MDR-7506, Shure SRH440, Sennheiser HD-280 Pro
over 100€ - AKG K-550, Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro

so, can anyone give me a small help here?

i just bought sony mdr-1a for 110 bucks(in sweden,50% of) and im very pleased i also looked at beyerdynamic dt 770 pro and from what i could gather they were considered better than the custom one pro. I should also say that i ruled out the one pro since they have alot of clamping force and i have a really big head(so big i broke one of my friends headphones, hyperx cloud doesnt fit and siberia v3 barely fits)

i ruled out the 770pro cause i tought theyonly came on 250ohm and the motherboard cant power that but now looking more into it there seems to be a 32 and an 80 ohm version but still the price is a bit more than what i want to spend so that might be a last resort kind of situation, oh, and i did look at the DT150

I was looking at headsets as well.. you might want to check out the new HyperX which can be found here

Also the Astro A40 is supposed to be very good, oddly enough the PC version of the headset is not compatible with the PS4 version.. but the PS4 version of the A-40 seems to be compatible with PC, PS4 and XBONE.
