I'm a private person, so this is a difficult issue. There's also recent incidences on Twitch regarding people faking disabilities and whatnot, so that makes this even harder. I have Endometriosis... I was diagnosed last year after surgery. I'm going into surgery again, this time for a full hysterectomy, on April 15th. Basically, we're out of options; there's no effective treatment and no cure, and the chronic pain is pretty much destroying all quality of life. The surgery is still no guarantee that I'll be free of the disease, but it's a much greater chance than any other options we have. My husband and I really could use a lot of good vibes!
I do have a GoFundMe page if that's of interest. I feel awkward linking it, and am not sure if it's okay. If someone would let me know? If it's not, I'm okay with people sending me a Twitch message.
I don't know many communities as friendly and as full of good cheer and good vibes as this one, who will respect the nature of this. I'm trying to reach out, but it's a new concept, and I'm definitely feeling a bit embarrassed and awkward.
