Vera Moray (Granny Rags)
  • She's an old lady from Dishonored. Minor lore spoilers for that game down here.
  • Really likes rats, she calls them 'birdies'.
  • Everybody just adores her. (or gets eaten by birdies)
Skills
  • Speech - Long ago Granny Rags danced at court. Men begged to marry her.
  • Stealth - Careful. She treads with purpose...
  • Explosives - ...and is not as frail as she seems.
Traits
  • Wild Wasteland - She has given herself fully to the Outsider.
  • Anything but Four Eyes or Skilled.
S.P.E.C.I.A.L
  • Perception 1-2 since she's blind.
  • Endurance 8-10 since she's immortal.
  • Charisma 9-10 since she's a dear old rat lady.
  • Luck 1-3 since her last road trip didn't turn out too well.
  • S-I-A up to you, keep in mind she's bonkers.
Playing Vera
Kicking off, in Goodsprings, side with the Powder Gangers. First though, talk to Easy Pete a bit. She doesn't know how to talk to a lady, so pickpocket his dynamite and place a live dynamite in his inventory. This will set precedent on how Vera will interact with people she doesn't really like in the future. Note that Goodsprings and Powder Gangers are local factions and don't get much in the way of doing any of the cool stuff out in the wastes. After Ghost Town Gunfight, you're free to do what you want on future quests.

In her mind's eye she is fancy trimmed in velvet, fresh and young, on her way to an evening of romance.
Vera believes she's a young and beautiful woman, so she always uses her conversational skills, no matter how hard it may seem to convince someone. For example, if she considers saying "[Guns: 14/75] I see you have a gun." she just says it. If there is a test she can pass, she may choose that option instead.

Vera's favorite food is Iguana bits since it's Iguana bits. She doesn't say no to Strange meat either. The only alcohol she drinks is wine because it's classy. She might consider the Cannibalism perk, but she definitely has Black Widow. On later levels she acquires a Terrifying Presence (level 8, Speech 70), and she might become Rad Resistant (level 8, EN 5 Survival 40), a Ghastly Scavenger (level 12, Cannibalism perk), or even Rad Absorbent (level 28, EN 7).

Name: Mr. Wilbrand
Gender: Male
Age: Old-ish, like 75% of the slider.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L:
S - 5
P - 8
E - 5
C - 3
I - 4
A - 6
L - 9

Traits:
Hoarder
Take another one of your choice if you want another one.

Selected Skills:
Explosives
Lockpick
Sneak

Perks:
Must take these, rest is your choice.

Demolitionist (level 6)
Strong Back (level 8)

Companion:
Rex.
Unless you do Old World Blues, since you will HAVE to replace Rex with Roxie for the duration of your stay.

Bio:
You weren't much like when you were young, you always ruined the moment with your bad jokes and inputs at badly placed times which made you very unlikable, and as such your charisma is low. You've always heard you were a really lucky guy, always won at the pokertable, which made you even more unlikable. Through all your life you've always been the laughing stock of the party, and at a point, you had enough.
You were made fun of at the pokertable and people took your money when you didn't pay enough attention.
Thusly, you decided to man up and started to notice and note down every little detail about everyone and everything around you. In doing so you gained a lot of perception about the world.
You became a fan of explosives after you and a longtime friend blew up a car. Sadly he died in the explosion, but it triggered something in your mind. A revenge plan.
You decided to lockpick your way into your dad's locked safe, and found a handgrenade and you started to plot your revenge against your false friends. One night at the table, you reverse-pickpocketed your live handgrenade into a "friends" trousers and then quickly told everyone you needed to go to the bathroom. Running for your life, looking back only to see the room and everyone in it blow into bits.
You decided there was nothing for you left, and you started a job as a courier. A lonesome road, for a lunatic with explosives on his mind.

Playthrough Style:
You are a nifty little thief that likes to play "pranks" on people you don't like. Except the pranks end in their gruesome explosive death and in only you maniacally laughing behind the wall. Somewhat insane, but through luck you've made your way into this world. You ALWAYS have to have explosives on you, if you don't have it, your absolute first priority is to find some.
You can cold-bloodily murder people at random, but mostly only people you dislike/a faction you are vilified with. The best way you found to kill, is to reverse-pickpocket explosives into their inventory and make them blow up.
You can steal everything you want, and you really want to steal explosives.
When you get to New Vegas, you HAVE to gamble. One of your dreams is to play until you've been thrown out of one of the casinos.
Even though you lack strength in your arms, your back is used to have bags of explosions on it.

You must do "Wild Card: Change in Management" (aka, getting Yes Man to do your bidding, and become the boss of everything)
MUST recruite BoS and The Omertas and The Boomers. Rest is optional.

Weapon choices: Guns (your choice, but preferably Small Guns) and explosives.
You never fight without a weapon. Unarmed/melee combat is not for you.

Posted this in the Fallout 3 thread and posting it here as well since it could be used in either game.

Name: Ryu Hayabusa
Gender: Male
Archetype: Stealth / Ninja

S - 8
P - 6
E - 7
C - 1
I - 4
A - 8
L - 6

Skills:
Melee Weapons
Sneak
Lockpick
Unarmed / Explosive (Cohh's choice here. Explosive allows access to 'Thrown' and 'Placed' weapons which can be used for traps/ambushes but Unarmed gives access to some nice melee perks)

Perks:
Friend of the Night (Level 2, 30 Sneak)
Light Touch (Level 2, Repair 45)
Travel Light (Level 4, Survival 45)
Bloody Mess (Level 6)
Super Slam! (Level 8, Melee Weapons 45)
Finesse (Level 10)
Night Person (Level 10 required)
Silent Running (Level 12, Sneak 50)
Piercing Strike (Level 12, Unarmed 70)
Light Step (Level 14)
Better Criticals (Level 16)
Ninja (Level 20, Sneak 80, Melee Weapons 80)
Paralyzing Palm (Level 18, Unarmed 70)
Slayer (Level 24, Unarmed 90)
Tunnel Runner (Level 26)

These can be taken in any order up to Cohh's discretion. All other perks are Cohh's choice as long as it does not break the archetype of being a stealthy melee user. The 'Unarmed' perks are only required if Cohh uses the 'Unarmed' skill; however, they will benefit him in melee (especially Slayer).

Other obtainable Perks (optional):
Khan Trick (Perform all Great Khan drug runs)
Legion Assault (Talk to Lucius with 50 unarmed)
Ranger Takedown (Talk to Ranger Andy with 30 speech or complete 'Andy and Charlie')
Scribe Counter (Put 'Formal Wear' or 'White Glove Society attire' into Veronica Santangelo's inventory)

Gear:
Katana (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Katana_(GRA)) - this will be your main weapon of choice.
Shishkebab (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Shishkeba ... New_Vegas)) - for a fire melee weapon.
Gehenna (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Gehenna_(GRA)) - an upgrade to the Shishkebab

All 'Thrown' and 'Placed' weapons (including explosives) are allowed so you can set traps / ambushes. All 'Unarmed' weapons are allowed.

Poisons can be applied to 'Thrown' bladed weapons (throwing hatchets, spears, etc).

Chinese Stealth Armor (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Chinese_s ... New_Vegas))
Assassin Suit (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Assassin_suit)

The Chinese Stealth Armor must be used if obtained, the Assassin Suit is a good alternative; however, the Chinese Stealth Armor can be obtained easier than the Assassin Suit early on.

Until the above items are obtained Cohh can use any melee weapons (preferably bladed weapons) and armor at his discretion but the concept is to be stealthy, get critical hits, and use V.A.T.S. as necessary. Avoid guns / energy weapons as much as possible.

Bio & Karma
Ryu's father has gone missing and finds a letter stating that he is on his way to a life or death duel. The letter goes on to state that if he (Ryu's father) does not return that Ryu should find his friend, Walter Smith. Now you are scouring the wasteland in search of any news on your father or his friend. You should assist others as much as you can and hopefully they will be able to help you with information on your father or friend (granted you may never find either of them). Regarding the NCR / Caesar's Legion / House / Yes Man you should think of which choice would benefit everyone and the wasteland the most.

EN: 4
CH: 6
IN: 7
AG: 4
LK: 8

Selected Skills: Science, Lockpick, Energy Weapons
Perks: Must take Cannibal at level 4

Playthrough Style & Bio:
Winthrop is a recovering ghoul, travelling the wasteland in the hopes of finding a place to settle down. He was devastated when his long time girlfriend, Greta, left him for a normal with smoother skin. In his misery, Winthrop tried everything that he could think of to help his own complexion in order to win Greta back. After failed treatments of broc flower lotions, brahmin dung paste, and many others, Winthrop became desperate.

One night while Greta's new boyfriend was asleep, Winthrop in a drug-induced rage entered his bedroom and promptly murdered him. Not knowing what to do with the body, and afraid that he would be exposed and kicked out of Underworld, Winthrop decided it would be best just to eat the recently deceased.

Shockingly, the following day Winthrop felt great. He began to regenerate some of his lost flesh and even regrow some of his once-flowing hair. Unfortunately Winthrop did a poor job of cleaning up the scene of the crime (as a trail of blood was found directly into Winthrop's own room) and the residents of Underworld kicked him out into the wasteland.

Now Winthrop wanders west, killing poor, sleeping normals when he feels the need to feed and is gradually recovering from his ghoulish condition.

Quirks:
- Obviously Winthrop will need to cannibalize at any safe opportunity, but he is otherwise a very good natured character
- To help forget the atrocities that Winthrop commits, he enjoys taking cocktails of drugs any time he takes a rest

(Hardcore Mode preffered)
General idea: COHHBOY
Name: James Cohh West
Selected Skills:
S - 5
P - 7
E - 6
Ch - 4
I - 4
A - 8
L - 6
Starting traits:

Fast shot - You draw first, think later.
Second one is optional - Wild (wild) Wasteland and Built to Destroy are most appealing to me.
Must have Perks:
LVL2 - Confirmed Bachelor - Out in the Wastes aint nobody got time for women (and there are cool dialogue options + damage bonus)
LVL4 - completely optional, Rapid Reload would work the best to the characters theme though.
LVL6 - Gunslinger (HEY, THATS WHO YOU ARE)
LVL8 - Cowboy (by now you realise its what your character is supposed to be, right?)
LVL10 - Quic Draw (i know, its lvl8 perk, but it fits to the character perfectly, you can swap it with the cowboy perk)
LVL12+ - whatever you want, by now your character is defined preety well
Tag Skills and future focus:
GUNS (tag and add points as you level) - You are a gunslinger, its your most important skill.
SURVIVAL (tag and add points as you level) - You are the cohhboy (brahminboy?), years in the wastes taught you how to survive.
MELEE (tag and add points until you reach 45 - VERY IMPORTANT for the cowboy perk) - this skill is mainly for the cowboy perk needs, but you do know how to use knifes and machetes. Later replace with:
EXPLOSIVES - them Cowboys love dynamite, YOU LOVE DYNAMITE (what is there not to love?)

Playthrough Style & Bio:
You are the Cowboy of Post-apo west.
You wander the wastes, doing the right thing. You never turn your back on the ones in need, you always help the weak and defenseless.
Although you are not knight in white armor - you have some issues of your own: your longing for whiskey has replaced your longing for women, and all the time spent in saloons got you addicted to gambling.
Ingame mechanics:
You always prefer to shoot things with your big cowboy guns, but you can switch to melee weapons (preferrably with help from booze as your strenght is not the best). You prefer action over words (means you should not be trying to talk your way out of things, fooling anyone etc.)
CAUTION - Your character should never use all those high-tech shennanigans like energy weaps, computers etc. (Power Armor is also unacceptable). With explosives skills make sure you only use the traditional stuff (YES to grenades and dynamite, NO to mines, rockets, mini-nukes etc.)

My inspiration for this archetype were the Gunslingers from Stephen Kings 'Dark Tower' and all the good 'Sheriffs' from western movies :)

Hope you all like the archetype, its something not very often played, but i think it can really be enjoyable on stream :)

Intelligence-3 *your not the brightest at things you barely know anything outside of gambling and running away from people you owe money to*
Agility-5 *your just to loud and cant keep yourself from swearing from all of the achole you are drinking while trying to be a wasteland ninja.
Luck-10 *your litterly the luckiest guy the fact your not dead yet in this wasteland and some how gambling is what keeps you alive money wise over anything else. for the dumbest guy out there in the wasteland at least you got one thing going in your favor.

Starting Traits.-
Wild Wasteland
Built to destroy.

Perks- Im going to only list the ones required since they are most effected by the playstyle and skill set. rest is up to you

-Fortune finder is required at lvl 6 *your lucky and special your mom always told you that since you was born and it shows whit how lucky you find money.

Terrifying presence *nothing is more scary then a drunk man holding a gun to your face*
Animal Friend - *animals was the only friends you had growing up and pretty much always will be your only friends.*

Skills list/ Tagged skills

Your mainly going for Survival/unarmed/guns and Speech *but not to much speech will explain why in the background story*

Tagged skills are Survival/unarmed and guns.

Do not do any in repair/science/sneak/Medicine/Energy weapons it defeats the hole character persona. Explosives/barter/melle weapons are okay secondarys.

Background story/Lore Bare whit me guys....

Your Gambling and drinking got you into a huge bind and have to pay off what you owe to a casino but lucky you they offered you a alt way to pay it and you take up the job being a postal boy but the job didnt go as you planned and it got you into this mess whit a bullet in your head. But luck was on your side and you lived mom always said you was special and lucky and so did many many others. Now your setting off to start your life again but whit one goal Gamble and drink and only do what benfits you the most or what thinks benifits you *because your too dumb to know what alot of things mean so you get yourself into binds alot...

How you play this character in game-

-Must drink all booze/soft drinks
-Can use any type of Guns no tech gear though *laser rifles, ect.
-Can use any armor but Power armor or high tech stuff your too dumb to handle it, you want anything thats nontech, Handgun, shotgun, rifles, Rocket launchers, Gernades, mines, so forth.
-Must Gamble/play caravan *dont have to do alot since it can get boring and repetitive.
-Must go for the Sunset sasprellia legend quest you think its a new drink that has alchole in it and the reward is a endless supply.
-When speaking to characters your guy sometimes gets taken advantage of *mainly if your character is drunk ~just drinked booze whitin 5mins or so~ also your guy is pretty aggressive let this influance your dialogue choices.
-you can not defuse or use anything that requires brains *such as computers you can only use Easy and very easy only!*everyhting else you gotta find a key or another way.
-You can not repair guns or gear your character doesnt have the smarts to care about how bad his equipment is he even sometimes charges in whit fist if his gun breaks or gets disarmed.
- Blank minded he sometimes drops the gun he's holding if he finds a new one. 1/3 chance or so keep things refreshing. i trust cohh to know when to do this.
- Your character will also eat anything. your at least good at surival use this for you benifit for healing and living. Cant use Chems but can still use Pills like Med x/radx and so forth. *
-Karma your more towards the Bad side since you only think for yourself Let that lead you in the direction of gamestyle.
-Weapons/armor. Metal armor, leather, combat armor anything like that as long as it doenst have high tech parts *such as power armor is a no no.* Handguns, Shotguns, rifles, Gernade rifles, Rocket launchers, Fatman, Miniguns are what you like they are simple to use just like your simple Mind because all you know is louder it is the more it hurts.

Now here's a challanging part... this is what im going to leave to cohh but i kinda liked this..

You have to see a doctor to heal all limbs/rad posioning your character isnt smart enough to treat himself. you can sleep but you have to Flip a coin heads and you gotta drop a gun and a peice of armor and some caps for Theifs while you was asleep. you can only Rest if its to get to day/night for quest. also okay to rest if your above 75% HP.

Sorry for the long post just something i tryed to put alot of thought in and took me about a hour to write all of it down x.x... im a long time lurker that really wanted to do something so i decided to come out of lurking and make this post ^^

Gonna try to limit the requirements to only a few so its easier to play and remember

Name: Cohhca Cohhla
Gender: Male
Age: youngish

Bio: You have been diagnosed with Polydipsia. Because of this any time you find something drinkable you must immediately take a drink. If the source is placed in the world (toilet, sink ect) you only need to drink once. If you find a drinkable item you must pick up and consume all that you find. In situations where you would be stealing and you cannot get away without getting caught you must factor in how long it has been since your last drink. The longer it has been the more compelled you are to find a way to steal it.

You grew up on a Brahmin farm and so you feel most comfortable around Guns. Due to your meager lifestyle you place an unreasonable amount of trust in items that are more expensive. For Weapons: As long as it falls into the GUN category you must use whatever gun has the highest VALUE. When you have 0 ammo for that weapon you switch to the 2nd highest value weapon and so on. For Armor: Use highest value armor you are able to equip.

Duncan the Cowboy

S - 6
P - 8
E - 7
C - 6
I - 5
A - 4
L - 4

Trait: Small guns, medicine, Speech

Perks: You're going to want perks that increase damage and crit chance with old weapons, such as pistols and hunting rifles, you also are going to need to take contract killer perk later on. Cannot take any perks with science in them, big weapons, level up explosives if you want but dont make the skill and can only use regular grenades only if you do. Everything else is up to you.

Playstyle/Bio:

Bad Karma Cowboy

After you left the vault and see the world it is you realize a few things, the first is you cant trust anyone, you have to look out for yourself (only companion is dogmeat). You dont mind help out other people or groups, but you only stick with them long enough to help you reach your end, whatever that may be, more often than not it would just be caps or new stuff, whether its learning something new or a new item you need.

You have a deep disrespect for anything robotic, after staying in the vault your whole life you believe the down fall of everything was due to technological advances, and growing up reading western books you fell in love with their life style and views. (you would talk to robots but ultimately you destroy most robots you come across, you never use science weapons, and you dont trust people who do.)

Ever since your father gave you you're first BB gun it only just further fueled your obsession of the west. (you use pistols, shotguns, hunting rifles, and if you can sniper rifles if you like, you also keep a hunting knife on you at all times, you never know when you'll need a good knife.) You also thought it was really cool how cowboys all had basic knowledge of the land and lived off it, this is where your medicine skills come in. And of course you learned to use your tongue as much as your gun, you hide your past and lie through your teeth to hide anything about you, and lie to get what you need.

You have a weird sense of whats right and wrong, you dont mind working with the slavers and actually more often than not, you work along side of them. However you believe people and ghouls are equal, you dont much care for either, and if neither of them are offering you anything for your service you'll either walk away from both and let them settle it them self, or you'll side with the side that has the better long term benefit for you. However if you're forced into a confrontation, you'll side with the oppressed side. (living in a vault with the all knowing overseer all your life you dislike oppression like tenpenny vs the ghouls, but you value that strengths actually matters, such as the slavers.)

Also this is very much a bad karma run, you just dont give a shit about people humans anymore since you feel they destroyed the world, and made vaults as social experiments. You lie, you try and rip off people so you get a bigger cut, and you dont work for free. You also find out someone takes bounties of people and you sign up to get some easy credits. You're not here to make a better world, you're just here to live and survive. (You only do the main quest line for your dad so you can find him and ask him what the hell is the matter with him, maybe even kill him for lying to you you're whole life and abandoning you in his mess me made in the vault. You stick with the main quest line because you feel if you can learn how project purity works you'll have a total monopoly over the wasteland and you could lead people and make the world in your view with out the corruption of robots and the science that comes with it.)

Name: Theo "Pyro" Smith

Selected Skills: Explosives, Sneak, Repair. (Also uses melee, unarmed, lockpick and survival often)

Traits: Four Eyes, Skilled.

Perks: Mad Bomber (lvl 6) ,Demolition expert (lvl 8), Pyromaniac (lvl 12), Splash Damage (lvl 14), Silent Running (lvl 16), Jury Rigging (lvl 18)

S.P.E.C.I.A.L: S-8, P-8, E-8, C-1, I-4, A-9, L-2.

Playstyle/Bio: Theo is a pessimistic male, who loves explosions and fire. He hates the world and wants to watch it burn, especially the NCR, including the Crimson Caravan (to the point he attacks them on site), because of his history of being insulted and tormented for his low intelligence, charisma and bad luck, however he sympathizes with many gangs, like the Powder Gangers, Fiends and the Great Kahns, and most importantly supports the beliefs of the Legion, wishing to help them take Hoover Dam and the Mojave. He mainly likes to use explosive weapons and flamers and incinerators, but will use melee or unarmed when necessary, and in drastic situations he will use guns, but Theo hates technology, so he will never use energy weapons or science (only exception are MF grenades), as he prefers the old fashioned frag grenades and grenade launchers. Theo prefers medium armour, so he can still sneak well but won't get hurt by his explosives that much. Theo also doesn't like to be seen, sticking to the shadows making sure his enemies don't know what hit them, also his sneak skill helps him steal from others to satisfy his kleptomania and most importantly place grenades in unsuspecting people's pockets. Also, Theo is talented in repair, which he uses often to create new grenades. Theo also dislikes modern medicine preferring to eat, using his survival skills, than using stimpaks and will only use stimpaks in dire situations. Theo isn't very charismatic and prefers to not indulge in idle conversation with his inferiors for to long, usually insulting them during converstation. In the end Theo wants most factions to be destroyed under the boot of the Legion, becoming enemies with most of the factions in the Mojave wasteland and killing many faction leaders to try and rise through the ranks of the Legion, especially high ranking NCR soldiers, members of the Brotherhood of Steel and Mr. House, but for some reason seems to like the members of the Ultra Luxe and Gomorrah, he also likes the Boomers due to their large array of explosives, but the other casinos aren't so lucky as Theo plans to rob the Vicki and Vance casino, the Atomic Wrangler and the Tops. Theo also doesn't like The Followers of the Apocalypse, but won't attack them on sight as he finds them obsolete, so he won't converse with them as he sees their goal of peace as pointless. Because war... war never changes.
P.S. (Due to his hatred of the NCR, Brotherhood, the Followers of the Apocalypse and technology Theo will not allow Boone, Veronica, Arcade and ED-E join him, ED-E is a exception in Lonesome Road, however when you reach the quest The Courier you cannot rescue him. The rest of the companions are allowed as long as they want to accompany you, and when you reach Helios One you need to arm Archimedes II.)

Name: Gunslinger (just pick a good name for him)

Special:
ST: 5 PE: 6 END: 5 CHA: 3 INT: 6 AG: 7 LU: 8
Can't raise charisma over 4, other special can be raised as much as you want.

Traits: Built to Destroy and Wild Wasteland

Tagged skills: Guns, Melee Weapons or Explosives and Repair.
Every gunslinger has to know ho to survive, so raise Survival. Don't put too much into speech. The rest is up to Cohh.

Perks: Rapid Reload (needs 30 guns), Run 'n Gun (needs 45 guns), Hand Loader (needs 70 repair), Guick Draw, Finesse, Jury Rigging (needs 90 repair) You have to take these perks, the order isn't important. Rest of the perks is your choice.

You have to install Project Nevada
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40040/?
You may decide Project Nevada settings yourself.

V.A.T.S. Is banned! But don't worry, Project Nevada gives you bullet time to replace V.A.T.S. in combat. And Project Nevada has grenade hotkey and sprint (and all sorts of cool stuff).

Weapon of choice, REVOLVERS! The bigger the better. You have to use either the Mysterious Magnum or Ranger Sequoia. And everything lever action and bolt action goes too. No automatic weapons, ever. For melee, he uses knives and hatchets. Gunslinger never uses heavy armor, because it slows his gunhand too much. Sunglasses and stylish hat, no helmets. No stealing from good people, can steal from legion or other scum. Never pickpockets. Gunslinger hates energy weapons, he doesn't even pick them up for bartering. He also dislikes robots, so no Yesman ending allowed.

You can ignore Gunslingers hatred for energy weapons and robots when playing the DLCs if needed.

Combat style: Either goes in with guns blazing, or explosives first guns next. Sometimes likes to go quietly, sneaking with bladed weapon, and if that fails there are always guns. Doesn't enjoy using scoped weapons, but can use if needed.

Gunslingers only memories before getting shot to the head are that he loves shooting things, always tries to shoot to the head, ALWAYS. (Or it might be a fake memory created by getting shot in the head, and Gunslinger just wants to revenge the worl by headshots.) And he was always good with his hands, keeping his guns nice and clean. He also likes explosives (who doesn't). Gunslinger hates slavery and raiders. So you can choose between NCR or Mr. House. He isn't great with words, and likes to do his talking with bullets. Drink of choice is whiskey and Sunset Sarsaparilla, but pure water goes too. No other drinks! Gunslinger likes challenges. He doesn't care about others small problems, except if it includes shooting something, then he's happy to help.

Only one kind of whiskey is kind of boring, so you should install mod which brings more whiskey types to the game. Jack's Whiskey:

Traits: Wild Wild Wasteland ( this is just a given when ever anybody plays Fallout New Vegas ) and Early Bird
perks : (advised but not mandatory )- Black Widow Lv2, Educated Lv4, Bloody Mess Lv6 (really fun with the 3D fallout games), terrifying presence Lv8, plasma spaz Lv10, Pyromaniac Lv12, Chemist Lv14, Computer Whiz Lv18 and the rest is up to you

skill preference:Energy Weapons,Medicine, repair, science(these should be focused upon but don't only level these up)

Bio:they always say the quiet ones are the one you have to watch and with Lisa that's never been truer than ever.Lisa didn't have the best life growing up coming from a family of farmers back west in the NCR.Her family wanted her to do as they did, tend the land for the greater good of the NCR, but she wasn't interested in raising Brahmin and the likes. She spent much of her youth running off the farm to look for books that told her of the old world before the war, one day she found a bombed out Barracks with books that told her of the science and engineering of the old world weaponry and from that day on she was hooked on science.Because of her interest in science her family and the locals always looked down on her for being different and thought she was going out of her way to not help the NCR, years of belittlement caused her to resent farmers and use her intellect to use people into getting her own way.at the age of 16 she left the family farmstead and headed east for a new life in New Vegas, short on caps she took a job as a courier.Being all alone and felling the world is against her she developed alcoholism in an attempt to wash away the pain.she is also a paranoid about radiation poisoning after meeting some ghouls as a child. After being shot by Benny she snapped and now has gotten sick of being stepped on and is going to become top dog in New Vegas.the wasteland will forever change when she's done with her one woman crusade to get to the top.....

Play style:never help farmers or farm communities (unless you super have to,I don't remember all the main story quests). do all you can to screw people over to make yourself in a better position or just because you want to take some of your pain out on other people.Being an alcoholic means she must drink any alcohol freely available to her and steals if she hasn't had at least 3 alcoholic drinks that day.Because she is paranoid about the radiation she must take any rad away and rad x as soon as found. As for weaponry use laser and plasma weapons when possible but guns are allowed, melee however shouldn't be used at all, and if you ever get the chance to blow some innocents up it should be taken.Due to Lisa's upbringing and her recent psychopathic tendencies she has much more affinity with Caesar's Legion than NCR, but this doesn't mean she out right hates or loves either(that's up to you).just never forget her end goal to seize power any way she can no matter who must die in her way.

I personally don''t mind whatever play style you go with, but I highly recommend the following mods.

GRA Right to bear arms http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46138/?
All it does is it takes the overpriced GRA weapons from the vendors, and distributes them randomly on NPC's throughout the wasteland.

Project Nevada http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40040/?
Totally optional. Changes a ton of mechanics and makes the game harder but I really enjoy it.

EVE http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42666/?
Just visual enhancments for energy and explosive weapons

NVAC New vegas anti crash http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/53635/?
New Vegas stutter remover http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34832/?

WMX Weapon mods expanded http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/39651/?
Highly recommended.

Weapon retexture project http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38285/?

A World of Pain http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38719/?
My favorite NV Mod. Adds new areas and floods the world with tons of NPC's. Makes the wasteland feel less empty and more dangerous as it should be.

And of course:
CAGE- Continue after games end http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42428/?
Something loved about FO3 totally missing in NV.

Warzones

Currently playing a really fun build which I think others might enjoy. You too Cohh.

Name: Rin Pao, Asian. Female. Fairly young.

S 6
P10
E 7
C 5
I 5
A 4
L 3

Rin is a happy woman, who loves animals believes no one is evil by nature. Due to this she finds most robots to be abominations to the very existence of life and gladly destroys them. As a child her home was attacked by raiders and she hid as well as she could, that hiding spot was close to the weapons cashe of the little village. She could see what the raiders did to the survivors and as they got around to her mother she had enough and threw the single granade the village had bought for emergencies. It landed perfectly and blew up 5 raiders, the few remaining fled in terror. All alone she did what she thought was right. Rin torched the village and the dead, the flames of the fallen and the horror she had seen made her see how fire could cleanse, how fire could heal. The nearest village wasn't too far away so she started walking. Her love for explosions and fire had begun to grow and the grew for the rest of her life. A pyromaniac had been born. She later took the job as a courier and the rest is up to Cohh.

The perk 'good natured' at the start is a must for this and the second pick is up to you. After that fire and explosion related perks or nature related perks and of course anti-raider perks should be slightly more prioritized.

Tag skills; Explosives, Survival and then either energy weapons for flame thrower or Medicin to help herself and others.

The little downside though is the horror of that one night at home and due to this Rin hits the bottle whenever she can. Thanks to her life she knows that a bad start may not mean a bad end and thusly helps those in dire need. She hates raiders and does kill them if she gets a chance, a raider in bits is a raider less in this world and nothing more. Their death can help so many others and justifies this blood shad that way.

Hope some will find this fun, personally I'm really enjoing it.

I would recommend the mods Project nevada and EVE. They give this play style a bit more "oomph".

I wouldn't use energy weapons unless you have a way to disable the goo and ash piles, because they never despawn. They'll eventually clutter up your save file and make it lag. It's happened to me before.

Relation to Mojave Factions:
NCR: Hawthorne finds the NCR to be the least of all evils and the one force trying to keep peace. Even though they DID fail him in the past...
Raiders: Shoot on sight. No questions.
Fiends: See above.
Outlaws: Again, see above.
Caesar's Legion: Might be willing to listen, but most legionaires will most likely end up with a bullet in them once all is said and done. (Just like raiders.)
Brotherhood of Steel: Crazy tech-worshippers, but somehow bearable as long as they keep their gizmos pointed elsewhere.

Bio:

Regulus Hawthorne must've been born under some of the most unluckiest of stars, but these hardships have turned him into one tough SOB.

As a kid he fell into an old well near his family ranch, giving him a long-lasting dislike of water which makes him avoid swimming even today.
As a teenager his father was killed hunting Radscorpions, and his mother passed away some five years later from drinking irradiated water. (Maybe this'd explain his penchant for whiskey and other beverages?)
Soon after young Hawthorne tried to repair their water purifier with some random parts bought from a passing caravan, but the purifier ended up nearly blowing up in his face. (Perhaps due to this Hawthorne seems to prefer old, proven equipment over fancier technology.)
Eventually, the Hawthorne Ranch was forced to seek protection under the NCR.
Some ten years passed more or less without incident. But on one fateful night when the NCR was away a large raider party laid waste to the entire ranch. Most of the inhabitans were killed or taken captive while Hawthorne was left for dead.
This final straw pushed Hawthorne to leave his home and travel the Wasteland, hunting down Fiends, Raiders and other Wasteland scum with furious vengeance.

However, one can't do vigilante work without money forever, and eventually Hawthorne found himself taking up work as a Courier...

Str-7

End-7
Char-3
Int-9
Agi-2
Luck-5

Tag Skills:
Explosives, Guns and Science (he is a doctor after all)

Selected Skills:
Explosives, Guns, Science, medicine and repair take priority.
No energy weapons, melee weapons, unarmed and sneak.

Perks:
Mad Bomber (45 repairs and explosives)
Demolition Expert

Playthrough Style & Bio:
Dr.Boom is a mad scientist obsessed with explosions, because of this he despises any sneaking and silent weapons.

He mostly uses explosives, but won't mind using guns, however, the bigger the gun the better! Bigger the gun equals bigger explosions.

Through his vast experience with explosives, he also had to learn medicine to heal from all those broken limbs.

Diplomacy is only an option if the person is not rude, Dr. Boom has a short temper and would prefer to see things explode than to reason with someone.

EN: 5
CH: 6
IN: 7
AG: 5

Selected Skills: Science, Melee, Energy Weapons

Playthrough Style & Bio:
Hiro is delivery person for Mojave Express who used to specialize in delivering items such as YumYum Deviled Eggs, Fancy Lads Snack Cakes, and the odd Bloatfly Slider (where delivering in 30 minutes or less was essential).

He is extremely proficient in computer hacking, having helped program parts of a computer simulation similar to Tranquility Lane, and prefers to find a computer-oriented solution to many of his life's problems.

Hiro is enamoured by the old samurai ways, and enjoys brandishing his sword in his computer simulations (and is subsequently the #1 swordfighter there). His prized possession is a real life sword passed down to him through the generations from a descendent who got it from fighting in Japan during World War 2.

Quirks:
- Hiro will always take the computer-hacking route, if available
- While he enjoys using technology, sometimes he will fall back to using a good old sword in the right situations (his dream sword being the Blade of the West)
