Hello i have a gaming PC but i want to stream my PC games i know my PC cant do both so i was woundering if i should upgrade or but a new PC to Stream here the the build.

My Build Now: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/ShadowS ... ved/hyN48d
For upgrading i was going to get a Intel Core i7-3770 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor and a MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card
PS: my CPU at the moment is a bottle neck in my PC one reason why i was thinking of upgrading
Cost: £515

Streaming PC build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/ShadowS ... ved/sh2wrH
This is a build i put together to stream and edit videos to upload after (I don't own this build its just idea for now)
Cost: £550

Any advice is welcome

so here's a sugestion buy new and skip the streaming pc build, with the money from both builds you'll get a much stronger grapicscard and the 5820k can handle streaming and gaming at the same time without a problem and it will chew through most rendering tasks in a jiffy.

First, hello and I wish you luck with the streams! I am a bit confused. Your question above asks about buying new or upgrading. From your second commend you don't seem to want to upgrade your main game computer. My question is, what do you want to upgrade? I have used a capture card on a solid laptop with out any issues. I don't think a streaming computer needs to have the upgrade components that you have above. From what i have seen is the capture card does the encoding so you don't need a great graphics card.

From the two options above I would recommend that you buy the second option (In the link I did notice that you are missing a motherboard).

If that is the case and you are going to do both above I would agree with your ideas. The upgrade to the game computer is very good and the stream PC has pretty good specs. If money is an issue then the question is what do you want to do more. If you upgrade your game pc then you will be able to play at higher quality but you might not be able to stream great. If you buy a new streaming computer then you may not be able to max out the quality of the game.

I hope that helps.

So if i understand it right you have a i5 and you can either upgrade to i7 3770 or build a streaming machine. If thats the case i would recommend buidling the stream pc, there is no value in upgrading to a 3770 if you are going to replace it with something marginally better anyway. And when it comes to the streaming pc you are missing a gpu, idk if you an old one laying around but anything with a display output will do.
However my recommendation would be to save up that 500£ extra and buy one big beefy computer as it tends to be cheaper in the longrun.
