Keep Talking etc. question

Can anyone who has experience with Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes tell me if it's possible to switch roles? Can you disarm the bomb once you've seen the manual and vice versa? Thanks in advance!

I mean, as long as you have only one person looking at the screen and the rest looking at the manual, you can play the game with whoever in whatever roles you want. Just swap seats. If you're talking about playing with someone online over voice communications, then you'll both need the game to swap roles (as your game has no way of appearing on their screen while being unable to see it yourself).

Thanks, I am aware that you have to have a copy of the game to be able to play as the disarming party and I do intend to play the good old hotseat mode. What I meant is if playing as one side spoils playing as the other one in any way. From your first reply, I guess it doesn't.

Nope! It's simply a different challenge. After all, the challenge isn't knowing what sorts of bomb modules there are, the challenge is communicating when you only have half of the information. Playing as both sides might give you some insight, but ultimately it's about coordination and finding a way of talking that's effective for you. =)
