Thoughts about Blizzard

The title is "Thoughts about Blizzard" for one main reason. Under their Careers section it seems they are hiring people to remake Diablo 2, Starcraft and Warcraft 3. Was wondering what everyone's thoughts about this was and who all may be planning to play any of these if the Remakes really do come out.

I'd be interested in playing a remade Warcraft 3 but not really any of the others. But can you link to a source regarding this rumor? Screenshot or news article or Blizzard source?

Whether that article is real or fake I don't know BUT, this is what I found even more suspicious and made me think it would be real.

Them hiring for Classic Games makes me feel more like this rumor is true. I don't really know which News sites can be trusted now a days.

Both sources seem legit at first glance, though independent news sites like that first link can be pretty sketchy at times. Thanks!

Not a problem, the second link is directly from blizzards careers section, so that alone seems like they plan to do something with the Classic Games, wouldn't imagine them saying "Classic" for a new game in their Franchise. But worth keeping an eye on and pray that it comes true. All 3 of these games were awesome and would love to play with HD Graphics.

And maybe they will fix the Zerg campaign bug where you can't finish a mission (mission 8 I thing in the original not BW). Btw you can find a "arcade" version in SC2 that lets you play the original and BW games with the SC2 graphic (downside is you have the BW units in the original campaign)

While it's probably a genuine job posting i doubt its really just to remake those games. HD remakes work for a lot of old games but it's not really what these fan bases want IMHO. Instead they likely want people with experience with all these games to work towards a new title. With blizzards history of diverse game genres inside the same general world this makes the most sense.
