Is this a good build for a first time pc builder?

Would you believe that's after changing it? Also its a stream rig, hence the monitors

Is it good? Yes. Is it overkill? Depends on what you are going to use it for? One thing I noticed is that the two 21.5 inch monitors only have VGA and DVI. You got two of them and the graphics card has 4 HDMI and 1 DVI. Unless I am missing something, and that could be the case, you won't be able to hook all your monitors in. I would recommend that you either upgrade all the monitors to the same size with HDMI or find a different graphics card. Also can I ask why you are going for windows 7 and not 8.1 or 10?

Just to add to the monitor side of things, you are going to want all you monitors to have display port as your GPU has x3 Display port, x1 HDMI and x1 DVI. Your main monitor (144Hz) is going to either take up the DVI or a display port as there the only ones that can output 144Hz as HDMI can't.
