So... to make a long story short, I NEVER ask for anything, I'll make it quick and painless as I push through my pride to ask this of you all... as well as the tears... My sister in law was diagnosed with Advanced Stages of Lyme's Disease and it has advanced through her brain, heart, skin tissue, and body in general... She needs all the help she can get and we're not sure where else to turn. She recently left her job to go back to college for her medical career and got REALLY sick. This is when she was submitted to the hospital for 9 days in which they could not find out what was wrong with her. They tested her for EVERYTHING. They found nothing and sent her home. After going to Miami, FL, they tested several vials of her blood and found out that 1 of the 6th contained Lyme Disease..

I was diagnosed with Rocky Mtn Spotted Fever (a different tick borne disease) just this summer, though my case was caught early on. I'm so sorry to hear about your sister in law. I hope she makes a full and speedy recovery so she can get back to pursuing her medical degree. Good vibes and best wishes <3

Thank you all. That means a lot to me... her case went on for far too long before it was finally caught, which is why it's in the late stages... I pray everyday and night with my Wife that she will make it through this. She's got a long way to go... her Doctor has basically only allowed her a 30 day treatment and is now turning her away due to his other clinic (An AIDS treatment clinic) so... she's still in a rough place and not getting the medicine she needs, thus why I ask you all share her story... maybe there's someone out there that can reach her for the treatment she needs...
