Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade some of the parts of my current pc. The cpu and motherboard are getting old and have to be replaced. The rest is still ok and has been replaced in the last year. I do allot of gaming and rendering on my pc so I've gone a bit high in the specs but I think it's needed. My current power supply is an 850w so that should be enough. My budget is about 800 euro's and I was thinking about the following:
Motherboard: Asus ATX Moederbord Maximus VIII Ranger
Cpu: Intel Skylake Core i7 6700K 4.00GHz 8MB
Memory: Corsair 4x4GB, DDR4, 2133MHz, CL13

Is this a good combo? Is there something that can be different or better (cheaper ;) )? Is there something I need to be aware of upgrading to this?

Assuming onboard Wi-Fi isn't a concern of yours this is a solid choice! I have the last gen of that mobo and have had no problems at all. In my opinion that's a good combination! Enjoy your upgrade :)

I also want to point out on top of what L4tte said that you did not mention a GPU in your list. As far as rendering and playing games goes a decent GPU is mandatory these days. To go with a system like that I'd suggest a GTX 960 or above to be adequate. (Aiming for GTX 970)

Jep. The 970 I have is going to be placed in the new system. Replaced it several months ago :)
