Just a quick note about Stardew Valley! It's great! =D I watched some gameplay around on other strums and I went ahead and got it. Very much worth $15 for me. The gameplay has a "fresh retro" feel that exudes the intuitive elegance of yesteryear but is still engaging, fun, and...dare I say, addictive. Certainly not for everyone and YMMV but I figured I would share! ;)

My friend happened to get it on day one, and she's been addicted to it. I'd consider getting it myself, but I'm not great with games that require a lot of upkeep. Except for MMOs. x3

Very understandable, I was concerned about the same thing! So far I have found the upkeep has not been a burden and is somewhat flexible...you can focus on upkeep more to make more $$$ but you can focus on other things without losing too much ground...the story aspect also has potential, without feeling like you are tied to the quest....and yes upkeep in MMO's tends to make me shy away from most MMO's

I have been patiently waiting for three years! This is a labor of love, blending Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, little bit of Animal Crossing and stellar pixel art!
