So I was watchin' "Dropped Frames" while "The Division" was being discussed...and then Cohh started talking about his DeusEx playthrough (which I love, btw) and I started thinking....WHAT IF you could take the Deus Ex story, prime elements of its mechanics/game-play AND combine it with The Division's graphics/animations/physics/artistic elements...hell the NYC map would work perfect for it...Just a crazy idea I had...maybe someone has had it before...anyway, just thought I would share it here. Regardless, a game like this would literally/figuratively blow my mind, ya know! =D

Division of Man.
Now, as for the idea of a modern DE? I'd love it if they remastered the original, or returned to that form in a similar way. I loved Human Revolution, and I think it was a good game, don't get me wrong... But I'd love an old First Person RPG of DE with modern mechanics and graphics, I love the idea, but I'm not sure any Devs or Producers would ever do such a thing.

^^ this, unfortunately, is likely. More of a flight of fancy on my part based on Cohh's current playthroughs...kind of a shame they don't take the time with the story crafting like they used to...but we can dream
Ironically I was not aware of the franchise before Cohh started talking about it and I am not sure how I missed it, but I guess I did. On the flip side I am finding that the story is compelling enough that I don't mind the dated graphics but I still think a "re-imagining" on modern terms would be pretty great....maybe the latest release will fulfill that, but it might not...we'll see.

Now... Imagine if CD Projekt Red picked up the game... Oh baby! A bit unfair to Squinex since their game isn't even out for few more hours, but still... If this game isn't good, I'll probably lose all faith in any future DE games...

Yeah that would be a cool way to revitalize the series, those guys at Projekt Red know how to spin a pretty good yarn!
