I am looking to purchase/build a streaming pc. The problem I have is that I don't know anything about what I need. Building it will be easy as I am surrounded by family who has built many but extra advice as to what would work best would be great.
A few things I do know:
I will be using windows 10
I do want an SSD with a standard hard disk for more space
I will be saving up to get it as I am one of those people who finds what they want and work for it.
Thanks in advance for any help I can get!
I don't know enough

Building a streaming PC requires you going past the typical high end requirements. Without knowing your budget, you will be looking at CPU's above i5 (preferably i7) or AMD equalivent. 8GB to 12GB of ram (DDR3 1600 or higher). Solid state hard drive is a good call for gaming as it will give you a smoother experience.
OBS for recording.
Are you looking to use a microphone? Condenser or usb? If you use a condenser you may want to get a compressor or sound program to deal with the background noise.
Are you looking to have a single monitor or an extra one to call out follows etc?
Have you checked your internet connection to ensure you get the sweet spot, 720p 2000kb?

Thank you for the information. I'm just trying to get a handle on this stuff before I dive head first.
