So after watching the live Dev stream of Pantheon on Thursday 6/23/2016 and then again with the community on Friday 6/24/2016 and actually being able to talk to Brad in the chat I am super excited about this game. I'm a 15 year veteran of EverQuest, and am currently playing FFXIV and am dying to have an MMO that does not hold my hand. I want a challenge when i game. Is anyone else excited for this amazing game?

I am excited for this game. I just can't find an mmo anymore that can keep my attention for more than a few months. That makes me sad as I love the social aspect.
The social aspect of mmo's has disappeared to me the latest mmo's are anti-social/non-social gaming experiences grouping up for longer than a dungeon forget it not happening. Guilds are not what they used to be most chats are dead voicecomms are hardly ever used.
Playing an mmo has become an online single player rpg adventure (with build-in walkthrough). Whilst during EQ and vanilla wow it was just a social gathering of likeminded people having a blast and fun times together.
So yeah I am looking forward to how Pantheon will turnout.

I know that feeling all too well. I remember the days of sitting on my Wizard in EQ1 in the Common Lands near the Nexus portals and Taxing people around to other zones. You had to know other players in the game just to get things done. Your Reputation in the game had weight. I would get tells from people all the time asking me for ports and if they had the gold i would oblige. Wizard for hire at your services.

Yup did kind of the same my wizard in EQ and with my warlock in WOW
Though I must admit that in WOW on occasion I accidently dropped a few 'clients' (the non paying ones/spamming ones) into the molten lava in Ironforge (they later fixed it so it couldn't be done anymore....)

I'd love to get stuck into Pantheon, though to be honest I am all MMO'ed out.
After Ultima Online, EQ, DaoC, and 12 years of WoW; playing a game for a few days , finishing it, and moving on to the next, has a certain appeal.

Yeah 100 is kinda pricey. My roommate and i are going half on it since you get 2 copies of the game with $100 package along with the alpha and beta access.
