Hey Kalejin question. I recently switched to OBS Studio, does your program not work with studio?

Hi wade_d_mcginnis, it should work with any program. What part is not working? Key capturing, adding number from conuter to overlay or something else?

It will not capture the number. Vanilla OBS has worked fine however I cannot get the number to show. I have tried to start both programs in admin as well.

Besides choosing file in text source you also have to check "Read from file" checkbox, do you have that checked? It works for me with that

How do you get it to work with Xsplit? I have broadcaster, but i can't get it to appear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, I am having an issue...
It was working great. But I accidentally deleted the .txt file that was holding my counter, and now when I pull up the DC+SB to FIX the mistake I made, it only gives me the soundboard side of it. What am I supposed to do? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but it's still gives me the error message telling me it can't find the .txt file and refusing to give me the counter side of the program. Please help...

Hi,
Make sure that you are using the newest version 3.8.0.0. I updated UI so it would display thicker splitter and also with text 'Counters' or 'Sounds', based on part that is hidden.
Since you are missing counters, there should be thick darker colored stripe on the left side, that you can click and drag right.

I tried that and it is refusing to let me drag it to the right. It is also the latest version, as well.

What version do you have? Try making the whole window larger if it does not allow you to drag it right.

I clicked the "Download latest version" button on your main message. So I'm assuming I have version 3.8.0.0. installed onto my computer. I just tried your suggestion and it's still only the soundboard side of the counter, and refusing to give me the counter side.

I also tried going into settings and disabling the soundboard side, but all that does is make it so I can't click the "add/remove" buttons that are ON the soundboard side, and not giving me the counter side of the program, still.

Hmmm.... very weird... Could you please try to open file C:\ProgramData\DeathCounter\config.ini and delete this part:
size=some_number
and then run the application?

I don't see "size=some_number"... I see:

That's what I see... Is that what you want me to delete?
