To be honest... this seems like it's such a cozy thing to do. Just having a good time the horsies, feed them, take care of them, train them etc. And doing it in such surroundings at the same time. I must admit, I envy the fact that you're so much into it, and that you have that amazing place to live.

Awww thanks Fluxuss! It is a very relaxing activity when you have a nice horse you can trust
I can't wait to have Sunny on my own land so that I can be his primary care taker. It's loads of fun to feed, groom, and train horses! I'm lucky to have a very sweet horse that I've been developing a relationship with for the last 13 years, and I like to think we genuinely enjoy each others company. Most of the time I enter his pasture and whistle for him, and he comes over to me without hesitation
The farm I keep him at is beautiful! There's about 50 acres of pastures, lots of adorable little out buildings, 2 ponds, and wood & prairie trails that lead to an area where 3 rivers converge. We trail ride all over the county and have a great time!
There's also a cottage on the farm that they rent out, and we have the most interesting guests stay there! We had a bride doing a photo shoot in the front yard on Sunday. Sunny was almost in the photos but they said the backdrop in his pasture wasn't nice... and then a lady asked me to bring "the horse" out into the yard. I declined because we had just returned from a 6.4 mile trail ride so Sunny earned a break... and he's not a prop - he's not "the horse" - he's a living breathing animal and my AMAZING horse and he deserves to be treated as such! So "the horse" didn't get any pics with "the bride." lol! I'll throw my wedding dress on and do photos with him one day so he doesn't feel like he missed out

I don't really know what to say. I'm amazed. Everything sounds so amazing, and I can only imagine how fantastic is must be doing all this! And I have alot of respect of people who can maintain and give themselves a 110% to stuff like this. Just amazing!

I could imagine! I remember when I was a little boy, that my mother was alot into horses, and she had her own at some farm. It is all dizzy, as I think I was about 5 years old or so, but, I remember it being a very nice place, and the people there were very kind.
And just the fact that you want to do that, just shows how big a heart you have!

Robau I would love to live there too! Hahaha
And streaming while riding would be pretty amazing!
Fluxuss that's cool that you were able to be around horses when you were little. Horse people can be very weird, but I like to think most of us are nice
Acidicpure I have totally thought about that! I can't afford a GoPro right now, but I was told they do giveaways daily on their website! I will see if I can win one so I can post my awesome adventures. They will include shrieking as we ride through spider webs and probably a lot of ducking under branches (I'm going to get some lopers for trail riding soon). We do a lot of trail blazing rather than following a pre-determined route

Should get Cohh to rally up people to enter those giveaways then, a couple of hundred people stand more chance to win you one than just entering yourself :p . They're like $250 normally though? (Just guessing cause I'm not too sure of the USD price) - I know they are like ~£200 GBP.Laina53 wrote:Acidicpure I have totally thought about that! Acidicpure you're right, but then again the more people that know about it the less likely I am to win! They are like $250 at least, depending on which one you get. If I do win one I'd like to get the waterproof case too! We did get caught in a downpour on our Sunday ride.

I meant getting loads of people to enter to increase the chance of getting you one, heh, then just offer to pay for shipping or get it sent straight to you xD. But it would be kinda cool to see the riding from your POV ^_^Laina53 wrote:Acidicpure you're right, but then again the more people that know about it the less likely I am to win! Well that would be awesome if people would do that! I don't know how many would send it to me though hahaha. I know someone who won the giveaway within the first 5 days he entered, so I am hoping my chances are pretty good!! I'm gunna get Cohh to enter too
