A new system that was recently created within the past year or two has seriously BLOWN-MY-MIND!
By using the Kinect system, a guy has created an entirely captivating music creation program with many different methods that can be switched on the fly: The V Motion Project. A music video was created from the first ever PUBLIC TEST of the system. Watch it here and have your mind blown as every fiber of your being wants to totally do this.
(I've watched this thing several times.)
Warning: If you have subs, you might want to turn them down a little bit. This does contain music with a lot of deep rich bass, and will cause animals to scurry in fear of the pure awesome.

I'm not sure what I'm suppose to think of this - All I see is a guy waving his arms around with some music playing over the top of the video.

He's manipulating the music using a kinect and a custom program he created along with a projector to show it on the wall of a building at night.

So basically stuff like DDR or the other dance games but a bit more advanced and what he does has an effect on the sound of it?

No, not DDR. He's essentially 'playing' DJ. But instead of pushing buttons and scratching records he is using his body.

Exactly, he's modifying the music on the fly with his body motions through a kinect.
