So. I'm kind of bored nowadays and have no idea what to play, probably there are lot of others having the same problem as I do. So if any of you know of a good game that is not well known but is awesome feel free to share.

All infinity engine games.
Baldur's Gate trilogy(it's a mod for BG1 2 and shadows of amn, it's better than BG: EE)
Icewind dale 1/2(dale 1 has an amazing story, 2 has the best combat system of any CRPG hands down)
Planescape torment(Insanely good story you need to play through)
The trilogy has a lot of mods to make it work well at higher resolutions and act like a modern game
Icewind dale 2 works well out of the box, there is a mod to play IWD in the 2 engine but it doens't work as well
I suggest not playing planescape/icewind if you can't get over the resolution, despite the story in those two just being.. ridiculously good. Icewind dale 2 has the best combat and is the hardest if you turn on heart of winter for a new game +

Braid is one of the games I believe everyone should atleast try. It's an indie puzzle platformer. The game itself is really entertaining and also challenging, so you have to think about what you're doing. The story is also amazing. If you decide to try it, you're in for a real treat. Atleast in my opinion.
Another game that people should try, is Defense Grid: The Awakening. It's an amazing Tower Defense game. I just feel that the entire game is so well balanced when it comes to amount of towers and levels. You can choose to play the campaign regularly, or you can also decide to try and complete the campaign missions in different challenges, such as 10 Tower Limit and so on. And there is also a whole lot of extra levels you can get (DLC's, for instance a Portal DLC, where you have to defend yourself against GlaDOS in a smaller questline).
There are of course more games to pick of, but these games are playable by everyone, and does not require a very good computer to run. So that's why I picked them, otherwise, I could go on for pages about which games everyone should try!

I think bastion is on of the games everybody should play!
The visuals are amazing and the story is told in a unique way by an INCREDIBLE voice actor!
On top of that you have the songs and multiple endings!
The only downside i think is the variety of useful weapons i only used the box and a sort of shotgun because everything else didn't work for me but that just might be personal preference!

I would say among the new releases for a more mature crowd The Witcher 2 is amazing. As for games that are not well known i couldn't say maybe you could point us to a genre, for example i really loved the old 4x space games, like masters of orion and among the newer releases galactic civ 2, or even the newer StarDrive. A more controversial pick on my side would be battleforge which was entertaining, besides i'm allways looking for a reason to go back to that game, never did quite finish all the story missions on Hard
. But as you can see i'm more of an RTS fan, and I wouldn't recommend a lot of oldies because games don't age very well in my opinion.

Kassh, what consoles do you have? (3DS, pc, xbox, ps3, others..) because there are different games that are made for one console that everyone should play.

after all the hype that game got, I wasn't really that keen on it - It was way too easy and be beaten by just using one move.

I'm excited for the game Grand Theft Auto V its one of the best GTA's ever. If you said San Andreas or IV was better. Your wrong well its your opinion but Grand Theft Auto V has went over there Pre-Order Goal. This is the biggest Grand Theft Auto map. The best features! Also and never before seen Single Player where you have 3 players to choose from!... Plus multiplayer is the first time ever seen Jets not just helicopters...JETS! Those were only found on the P.C. Version of MTA San Andreas (Multiplayer for San Andreas on P.C.) I can't wait for this to come out and I'm having the timer on it
. If you can tell me how to put the timer on this that will be a big thanks!

I'm also gonna recommend the Final Fantasy Series. The 7th is the best according to many people, but I don't try and have a favorite when the series is that long.

Bioshock. One of the best game atmospheres I have ever experienced, fantastic story and great design in regards to the style of the city.

Intel i7 3770 - EVGA GTX 660 FTW Sig2 - 8gig RAM - 1TB HDD
Windows 8 64-bit - Steam ID (Drolvahr Maldastar) / Origin (Maldasar52)

The game i am currently playing on the xbox is (coincidentally) Fallout: New Vegas. I have just started out the playthrough and am currently on the tutorial recieving plants for cooking. I do think it could be a great game, but is there any way to run at all? the walking is really too slow for my liking

I would have to say Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is a must play for any videogame fan. It has to be the best of the series.
