Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune's Mighty No. 9 Kicktstarter is an unqualified success. It raised over $4 million dollars, shattering expectations and meeting all of its stretch goals. But the campaign has left us long-time Mega Man fans with mixed feelings. On one hand, it equipped equipped us with hopes and dreams as soon as we saw what master game creator Inafune had up his sleeve. On the other hand, aside from a jolt of life he received courtesy of his Smash Bros. Wii U debut last June, we’re reminded of how little Capcom Japan appears to care about its little blue robot boy.
